Manchester City are just turning the screw, moving the ball left to right

    They're patient and in control.

Walker with plenty of pace and when they ball gets into the box there's plenty of white shirts there.

City are going to have a lot of the ball in this second half.

It's important that when Swansea get the ball back, they keep it and ease the pressure on the defence.

Scramble! At least three blocks in the Swansea box. White defenders throwing themselves at the ball like extras from Zulu. Expect plenty more of this.

Now there's noise in Swansea, the home fans rallying their team as Manchester City keep the ball for what feels like an eternity. Eventually the cross comes from the right, but a host of white shirts see it behind.

Daniel James has to be in the conversation for football's quickest men. He's lightning. There's plenty of space for him as Manchester City push forward. Eventually, it needs four men to crowd him out.

Bersant Celina has had his tyres pumped by scoring Swansea's second. He surges through the middle, but his shot from distance is high and handsome.

Close! And these sort of things really do make you think it will be Swansea's night. An attempted clearance in the Swansea box hits Gabriel Jesus' outstretched boot. It could go anywhere, but fires past the post.

No substitutions from either side. Pep very much doing a 'you got us into this mess, you get us out of it'.

    Swansea 2-0 Manchester City

Whichever way you look at it, we're in a for a cracking second half. For Swansea to hold on, there will be tension. For Manchester City to come back, entertainment. Remember, it must be settled tonight.

At Hand: I'm worried for Swansea. This will be the longest second half ever for them. Aguero will change this game in a second.

Momodu: We all know Man City can easily turn this one around. Watch out for a very interesting second half

Per Hetwall: If Pep does not take off Laporte at half time, the referee will take him off soon enough after that. Out of order

I still really want to know what the odds on a Wales-Swansea double were.

How does Delph keep getting a game at right back? He pretty much always gives away a goal or a penalty or gets sent off. He got us knocked out of the FA Cup last season too.

Amidst that madness, it should be noted what a game Kristoffer Nordveldt has been having in the Swansea goal. This save kicked it all off...

    Danny Gabbidon

They have flustered Manchester City and that is credit to Swansea who have been outstanding. They have got everything right. The two goals they have scored were fantastic, particularly the second one that carved Manchester City open and they are well worth their half-time lead.

Andy du Frain: Understandable clamour for City to lose. Reading the commentary it already feels a lot like the Wigan game last year. Not putting the ball away costs any team, hope they turn it around but a quadruple is an impossibility in modern football.

Ed Crisp: Absolute madness... Swansea till I die.

Peter Shields: Foden on to boss the midfield, Stirling and Aguero on and City win 4-2
