Romero has to be the best backup goal keeper in the world. Argentina's no.1 for a number of years.

Looking again at that save from Romero, the reactions were outstanding. Jimenez was only just beyond the six-yard line, but Romero was able to thrust on his left hand.

It's cranked up. The second half managing to pick up where the late improvement of the first half left off. Maybe we won't have extra time and penos after all.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 53 mins

    What. A. Save.

Sergio Romero flies through the air to deny Raul Jimenez. The header was from a corner, Romero somehow tipping it on to the bar. Brilliant.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 52 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Manchester United

This is big. Marcus Rashford dives in on Conor Coady and goes in the book. That's his second yellow in the FA Cup, so he'll miss the semi if United get there.

Blimey, Ruben Neves is in a different post code to Sergio Romero when he has a pop at goal. It's never on target and is taken further away by the breeze. Arguably more action in the first five minutes of the second half than the entire first.

That is frightening pace from Rashford. He is straight out of the blocks, and it's the last thing you want as a defender to be faced with that. Rashford just can't wrap his foot around it enough.

Great start. Marcus Rashford out of the blocks, sprinting past Conor Coady down the inside-right channel. Coady just, barely, does enough with a sliding challenge, as Rashford's shot goes past the bear post.

The players are returning to the field. This was the closest we came in the first half. No better in the second and we'll be heading for extra time.

More from Pep Guardiola: "It's the FA Cup. That's why it is so special.

"We are in the semi-final and it was an incredible game. The football Swansea play is good, they don't play long balls, Celina played between the lines and when we played with two holding midfielders we played better.

"We had a mountain to climb but we spoke at half-time and said we need one goal, then the way we attacked, attacked and attacked was so important.

"We created a lot of chances, their keeper had an incredible first half and made more saves in the second.

"We knew anything could happen in the FA Cup."

    Swansea 2-3 Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "I'm sorry it was offside. I don't understand why VAR is not used in this competition at this stage. Hopefully next season this won't happen.

"The rebound of the penalty was really lucky but you need it, especially when you're in four competitions."

So the Quadruple is still on, but only thanks to an iffy penalty and an offside winner. There was no VAR at the Liberty.

Here's what Pep Guardiola made of it...

Manchester United have had a lot of possession but haven't done a lot with it. They have been slow, taken too many touches and haven't worked John Ruddy at all. Wolves' gameplan nearly worked to perfection, but they missed that Jota opportunity late on.
