  2. 'That was an unbelievably poor decision'published at 18:35 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    FT: Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall

As things stand Leeds will be returning to the top two following Millwall's 95th-minute equaliser at Bramall Lane.

And Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder wasn't happy with the result especially as he felt there was a foul just before the Lions' goal. He told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"We invited pressure. All we needed to do was keep playing the same way we did in the first half. We went safe and I've said to them (the players), if you do that you don't deserve to win games of football; they were there for the taking.

"27,000 people see (Ryan) Leonard go through (David) McGoldrick. It's a foul with 30 seconds to go and if he gives it, we get the ball, it's in the corner and we get the win.

"The referee should have done his job properly. My reaction was an emotional one as that was an unbelievably poor decision."

  3. 'I've always believed we can stay up'published at 18:29 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    FT: Ipswich 1-1 Birmingham

It looks like the Ipswich town fans stayed behind at Portman Road to give their players a huge send off following the Tractor Boys' relegation from the Championship.

It's clearly struck a chord with Town boss Paul Lambert who told BBC Radio Suffolk:

"It’s gut-wrenching for everybody. You saw the reception at the end of the game, that was incredible. I’ve been involved in some unbelievable moments in my career, that’s as good as it gets for me, that’s how emotional it was.

"The support is unbelievable, I’m gutted for them, I’m gutted for the players and I’m gutted for all the staff here at Portman Road.

"I’ve always believed (we can stay up), everyone who knows me knows I’m a realist but, I’d always believed we could do well. You’ve got to analyse the disappointment and then try to plan what will happen next year."

  4. 'It’s been a lifetime’s work'published at 18:26 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    FT: Lincoln 1-1 Cheltenham

Earlier, Lincoln became the first side to win promotion in the EFL this season despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Cheltenham.

A very happy Imps boss Danny Cowley has told BBC Radio Lincolnshire:

“We’re obviously delighted to have won promotion. I’ve been sick and tired of having that conversation all week with people, (having to say) ‘We haven’t done it yet we’ve still got a bit to do.’

“For us to beat the club record of 19 games unbeaten, for us to get promoted to League One, it’s been a project all season we’ve been working towards but ultimately it’s been a lifetime’s work.

"League One was a million miles away not so long ago. It was three years ago in May that we came here. We’ve come a long way in a short space of time, the great thing about success is that it creates other successes.”
