Almost an air of expectancy from the home crowd that a goal will come any second - and why not. That goal was certainly coming. Kris Boyd had earlier spurned a couple of glorious headed chances and Gary Dicker’s header didn’t hit the back of the net in the cleanest fashion, but the lead is deserved.
The industry by Alan Power in the build up to the goal was excellent - he signed a new three-year contract last month and looks like a man full of confidence and desire in the middle of the pitch.

This time, James Forrest drives at the Livingston defence and tries to bend the ball into the left corner with the outside of his right foot, but it's a fine save from Liam Kelly to turn it around the post.
