    FT: Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Kim Little, who sadly missed the European Championships in Netherlands two years ago through injury, has the potential to light up the World Cup this summer.

It's her goal that gives Scotland a half-time lead over Brazil.

Should the score stay the same, it will be the fourth win in a row under Shelley Kerr, and Brazil's ninth consecutive defeat.

Fiona Leverick: That was great work from Lizzie Arnot there. And Kim Little - always in the right place doing the right thing.

Alan Campbell:Terrific first half. Scotland created the best early chances, then Brazil should have taken the lead, but it's Kim Little's goal which separates the sides.

Aileen Larkin: Brazil are pressing high, but #SWNT are giving them very little space and combating with their own good chances.

Well, how's that for a scoreline? Scotland lead Brazil.

Brazil will feel they should be level. Andressa Alves' free-kick appears to land perfectly for a number of yellow shirts at the back post, but the ball trundles safely into the hands of Lee Alexander.

    Kim Little

It's Scotland who take the lead. Lizzie Arnot does brilliantly on the right hand side, executes a number of step overs before playing a fine ball across to Kim Little who gets ahead of her marker and blasts the ball down the middle.

Scotland have lived dangerously, but they aren't exactly being played off the park and they have had chances of their own.

Shelley Kerr will be disappointed at how often they have handed possession to Brazil, but the South Americans have not taken advantage.

A shot at goal from Scotland's Lizzie Arnot, though it lacks any real power. Goalkeeper Aline Villares Reis did make a bit of a meal of it.

Erratic defending from Scotland but they survive. Scotland have definitely settled into the game better in the last three or four minutes. It's congested in there but we have to try and vary up our play.

  16. CLOSE!published at 19:21 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

It's end to end here. Caroline Weir's free-kick drifts across the box and Sophie Howard just can't stretch her neck muscles enough to get a touch and it bounces wide.

Both teams are giving as good as they're getting though.

  18. CLOSE!published at 19:17 British Summer Time 8 April 2019

A half chance for Brazil. Geyse Ferreira comes through the middle but never looks like she has full control of the ball and her shot is an easy save for Lee Alexander.
