    Ryan Babel (79 mins)

What a hit from the Dutchman.

    Devastating for Cardiff.

Babel smacks a curling shot into the top corner from about 25 yards to light up what has otherwise been a dreadful game.

    Watford 1-2 Wolves

So, the irony here might be that Wolves, in seventh as it stands, will go four points clear of ninth-place Watford.

Watford, who beat them in the FA Cup semis, might have to beat Manchester City in the Wembley final to secure a Europa League spot which will otherwise go to Wolves.

Watford's 3 performances without Deeney have had little impact on the team's performance, so is he really that important?

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Everton

Gylfi Sigurdsson fires the ball into Cenk Tosun, who swivels and flicks a shot goalbound with his heel, but Vicente Guaita produces an instinctive save from point blank range.

GOAL - Watford 1-2 Wolvespublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    Diogo Jota (77 mins)

The usually dependable Ben Foster completely misreads the flight of a raking crossfield delivery into the area intended for Diogo Jota.

The former Baggies man makes a beeline for the ball, then retreats back to his goal but not before Jota plants his volley past him.

    Great finish, but bad keeping.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    Watford 1-1 Wolves

Watford's Will Hughes fires a shot that comes off Conor Coady in the area - he claims handball, but not as wildly as Gerard Deulofeu, whose arms perform a windmill-like motion to express his frustration.

Ref Simon Hooper waves play on, and he was wise to because the replay shows that Coady could not have moved his arm out of the way in time.

    Appropriate name.

The HT substitute Matt Targett gets his head to a delightful cross from the right from French-Tunisian full-back Yan Valery - Artur Boruc gets his hand to the ball but can't keep out the angled effort.

    Watford 1-1 Wolves

A shocking execution of a short free-kick by Watford almost results in Raul Jimenez scoring.

Fortunately for them, the Mexican fires over and he's flagged offside.

The replay appears to show the Wolves forward was level.

Come on Fulham, take this boring team down to the Championship with you. Least we'll have Leeds/West Brom/Villa/Norwich instead next term.
