  1. Southampton go close once morepublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    Southampton 2-2 Bournemouth

    Saints go looking for another.

After bringing the scoreline level the home side, perhaps, should have grabbed their third as Danny Ings anticipates a lofted ball into the area, but doesn't put enough on his attempt to flick the ball past Artur Boruc.

Mitrovic has got to score, at least hit the target.

He was 12 yards out in front of goal. With his quality, you expect him to put it in the corner but he blazes it over the bar.

    James Ward-Prowse

James Ward-Prowse, under the gaze of England manager Gareth Southgate, slaloms past two defenders before drilling a low 20-yard shot past the reach of Artur Boruc.

These two fierce rivals have provided some great entertainment so far.

If ever a chance summed up a game.

Tom Cairney squares for Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Serbian is unmarked in the box, but casually just side-foots his attempt over the bar.

    Southampton 1-2 Bournemouth

Cherries' Jack Simpson steams in at the near post but flicks his header into the side-netting.

The former youth player has his head in his hands, but that would have been difficult to steer in.

  11. goal

GOAL - Watford 1-1 Wolvespublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    Andre Gray (49 mins)

    Oh Ryan Bennett!

The Wolves man plays a loose backpass, actually very loose, and it's picked up by Gerard Deulofeu. The Spaniard tries to take it around keeper Rui Patricio, but the Portuguese man gets a hand to it.

However, Andre Gray, as with any hot-shot striker, pounces to raise the roof at Vicarage Road.

    Tony Husband
Match of the Day commentator at St Mary's

I’ve rarely seen the pendulum swing so wildly in a first half. Bournemouth were generally considered to be a shambles for 20 minutes but a smart tactical change and some terrific attacking play has put Southampton on the back foot. I can see more goals though.

  19. Half-time thoughts...published at 15:56 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    Fulham 0-0 Cardiff

    Owen Coyle
Former Bolton manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Fulham have been pretty effective in terms of passing through the phases. If they had that final bit of quality, they could have scored.

But Cardiff have looked really dangerous in the final third, when they have got there.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

We all hope for better in the second-half.

Cardiff are going to have to go for it. Huge 45 minutes coming up.
