More from Fulham caretaker boss Scott Parker: "It has been a disappointing time from the Watford defeat, all eyes are on us now. I had that question thrown at me, what would the reaction be? Would we down tools?

"Tom Cairney and Aleksandar Mitrovic exemplified what we have done all week, it was a great performance.

"Relegation brings uncertainty and doubt. The mainstay are the fans. We have a duty to them and ourselves to put in a performance today and exemplify how good this squad can be. With four games left this has to be the standard."

Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche speaking to Match of the Day on whether his side are safe from relegation:

"No I don't think you talk about that because you want it factually. You can't guarantee it but I think were in a very, very healthy position.

"The game should already have been over. Chris wood missed form short range, Westwood missed two one-on-ones and the game should have been over. It's the simple things which we've done well historically and we did that. The biggest thing is the basics. Simple things aren't as simple when there's confusion and the players deserve a lot of credit."

On Cardiff's overturned penalty decision: "I was thinking it's impossible the linesman could give it from there. I think the referee officiated it very well, there's nothing deliberate and the referee has done well to make a big call."

Brighton & Hove Albion

More from Brighton manager Chris Hughton: "In the end it was about keeping that score down. The fear is - it could have been worse.

"We are in a fight at the moment. Our form is very up and down. This was on the back of a very good performance last week. We've got to get back to being the solid team we know we can be. If we thought today was a big game then Tuesday is an even bigger one.

"We have to show our character on Tuesday. Once the players cross that line it's only them who can do that."

On Anthony Knockaert's red card: "It was a reckless challenge. It was the right decision. I've spoken to the team and I think it was one of the poorest performances since I've been here. Especially knowing the qualities of the team we were playing against."

Fulham

Fulham caretaker manager Scott Parker to BBC Sport: "We were fantastic from start to finish. We showed a real quality in the way we played and showed grit, That was something I drummed on about, our naivety. We have worked hard over the last 10 days. To a man we were fantastic.

"We have let in a number of goals, which has let us down, a clean sheet was pleasing but most important thing was way we played with the ball. As a team we produced some good stuff.

"Ryan Babel is a player that can get you off your seat, he has done that today at times. He showed composure and skill to produce another wonderful finish. Tom Cairney was the catalyst to what we did."

Everton

Everton boss Marco Silva to Sky Sports: "We didn't play football. Everyone came here to see a football match and in the second-half it was not a football match. Eight, nine or 10 times the medical staff came on the pitch. Difficult to have intensity as every five minutes the game stopped.

On next weekend's game against Manchester United: "It is not because it is Manchester United that we need to react, we did not perform today, it was not enough for us at the level of the club."

Cardiff City

Cardiff manager Neil Warnock speaking to Match of the Day: "There were two handballs really, you only have to look at the players reaction - he looked so guilty and the second one we felt there was a movement of the hand towards the ball. Mike must have seen something to go over and we're gutted really. I think Darren made the right decision and Mike has talked him out of it.

"We gave Burnley too much credit really, I felt we could've done with more devilment in the final third. Our lads keep getting kicked in the teeth really, week after week.

"My lads should surround the referee really, they had three lads in his ear straight away. I'm looking forward to hearing what they say - I'm sure when I get in there they'll all be singing from the same hymn sheet. Can I say I'm lost for words?

"Once we get over the disappointment we have to get ready for Tuesday."

Cardiff City

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock speaking to Sky Sports on Cardiff's overruled penalty decision: "I have no view at all thanks. I've already seen the FA three times this week.

"I'm disappointed, I'll be asking the referee obviously. Mike says it hit his head first, I'm sure I'll get the right story from all three of them. We're disappointed Gunnarsson didn't get a penalty for being pulled down. He doesn't dive. Little bit unlucky today.

"There's still a chance. I might be smiling but I'm gutted underneath."

There haven’t been too many times this season that Fulham have been applauded off by their fans, but they fully deserved their appreciation today.

On it from the word go they looked anything but a team that had recently had their relegation confirmed.

Meanwhile, a disappointing day for Everton who in contrast didn’t seem like a side that arrived on a three-game winning run

Cardiff City

Cardiff's Sean Morrison speaking to Match of the Day: "The handball is a bit of a harsh one but once the referee gives it I don't understand the conversation with him and his assistant to overturn it.

"I don't know if Mike Dean has seen it and I don't understand the conversation that's taken place. It's not an easy decision to make and its happened again today - I think we were unlucky not to get two in the second half.

On the game against Brighton: "It's a must--win game. If we lose that one it's not looking great for us. If we win that one then we've got games we can get points from."

Everton

Everton boss Marco Silva to BBC Sport: "It was a disappointing result, we did not perform in the way we want. You have to do more and better because we have the quality to do that.

"The first-half we did not play really fast and create problems. It was not a good first-half. Then we start the second-half and they score. We were not aggressive enough.

"We had a good chance to change the game, Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a one-on-one. But we didn't score, after that it was not a good game for us. They were more aggressive than us, faster and created problems."

Bournemouth

More from Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe on Sky Sports: "I think having key players back in the team helped us. Steve Cook produced a great performance leadership-wise."

"We haven't had our normal rhythm lately with is frustrating. So it was nice to see it fall back into place today and hopefully we can finish on a real high."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Dale Stephens on BBC's Match of the Day: "It's a bad, bad day.

"Bournemouth played well and we didn't. We didn't build on what we've been doing well this season.

"We don't use excuses. We pride ourselves on hard work and preparation and now we've got a big game to move on to on Tuesday [against Cardiff].

"The pressure's on now. We've got to stand up and be counted on Tuesday."

Southampton

More from Ralph Hasenhuttl: "When we took the lead we saw what we wanted to and we were very aggressive.

"I gave Josh Sims the chance today because I needed those deep runs and he showed he could do it. We showed we can always be a danger on the counter attack.

"We lost here not long ago against Cardiff and it seemed it would go right to the end so we are very happy, but I can guarantee we will do everything we can to get to 40 points."

Brighton boss Chris Hughton to BBC's Match of the Day: "We came up against a very dynamic Bournemouth side and couldn't handle them.

"We started OK but didn't create much and then from our possession they scored four goals on the counter.

"We changed the shape but then went down to 10 men which makes it even harder. We found it very difficult to cope with them today.

"We did OK in the first half although they scored. We knew what we had to do in the second half but once the second goal goes in and we go down to 10 men the spaces become bigger and they picked us up."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe to Match of the Day: "The frustrating thing for us is finding that consistency. We attacked with devastating intent at times. It's a really good win but the longer term thing is finding that consistency.

"We're pleased with some of the goals we scored today. We countered with devastating effect in the second half so I'm really pleased.

"We restricted them to only a few chances and we know if we can do that to teams then we can hurt them.

"We've been hesitating and spluttering in recent weeks so it's good to get back into the groove and show what we can do."

Southampton

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl told BBC Match of the Day: "You know how much pressure we have been under the last few weeks and now it seems we are coming out of the trouble.

"It's the most beautiful moment of the weekend if you can win and celebrate with the fans.

"We scored early but we were on the back foot a little bit and that is why we pushed them forward when Wolves equalised."
