    Bournemouth v Tottenham (12:30 BST)

Hugo Lloris has been talking about Jan Vertonghen's head injury on Focus, saying it is always worrying to see that happen to a team-mate.

Spurs defender Vertonghen, 32, collided with team-mate Toby Alderweireld and, despite being cleared to continue, soon had to be substituted.

The Belgian misses today's trip to Bournemouth after it was recommended he undertakes a "brief period of rehabilitation".

Nuno Espirito Santo says Wolves have no injury problems, so he could name the same starting line-up for a third consecutive game.

The head coach has also indicated that third-choice goalkeeper Will Norris, 25, may feature in one of their two remaining matches.

Fulham full-back Denis Odoi is ruled out after suffering concussion during the 1-0 victory against Cardiff.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Marcus Bettinelli and Lazar Markovic remain sidelined.

  4. 'Impressive Wolves target seventh'published at 12:02 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Wolves v Fulham (15:00 BST)

    Alistair Mann
    MOTD commentator

Regardless of whether seventh place will earn Europa League qualification, it is a target which Wolves are keen to confirm. To be the team just behind the so-called big six is impressive, particularly for a side only promoted a year ago.

The nature of that potential achievement is accentuated by Fulham's immediate return to the Championship; they too had high hopes 12 months ago, at the very least of consolidation.

Wanderers' outstanding campaign has been tempered somewhat by a string of surprisingly poor results against the bottom six, and with Fulham having won all three matches since their relegation was confirmed, the hosts may find this fixture a genuine challenge.

West Ham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

West Ham's injury problems are easing, with Samir Nasri, who has missed five games with a calf strain, among those set to return.

Manuel Lanzini and Aaron Cresswell are fit again, while Carlos Sanchez could make his comeback from a knee injury.

Southampton will again be without Maya Yoshida and Jannik Vestergaard because of illness and injury respectively.

Mario Lemina could start for the first time since returning from an abdominal problem.

  7. 'West Ham aim for top half, Saints safe'published at 11:56 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

West Ham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Mark Scott
    Match of the Day commentator

Manuel Pellegrini has called this a transition season for West Ham, but it's still one in which they can finish in the top half of the table - something they haven't managed in either of the last two campaigns.

One of the major frustrations for Pellegrini will be that the Hammers have shown they can perform against the big guns, but have been hit and miss when facing teams lower down the table.

Southampton arrive fresh from securing Premier League safety after an impressive haul of 29 points from 21 games since Ralph Hasenhuttl took over.

It's not just results that have picked up under Hasenhuttl either, with the Saints good to watch as well. Their fans can be optimistic about next season.

So, Mark Travers being pitched in-between the Bournemouth sticks has got me thinking... what's the best teenage debut you've ever seen for your club?

And what did they go on to do? Did they live up to expectations or end up falling down the footballing pyramid?

Aptly, I remember a young keeper called Paul Robinson doing rather well for Leeds United in a crunch clash with Chelsea in 1998.

Three men are already out on a Vitality pitch basking in sunshine - Cherries goalkeeping coach Neil Moss is putting Artur Boruc and, more importantly, Mark Travers through his paces.

Wonder how he's feeling? And when would he have been told by Eddie Howe he was playing? Hope his family have flown over from Ireland for the big day...

It's a shock Premier League debut, two weeks short of his 20th birthday, for Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers - who has the unusual record of having been an unused substitute at full international level (for the Republic of Ireland in two Euro 2020 qualifiers in March) before playing a single competitive minute for his club.

Appropriately for a Cherries player, he began his career in his native Ireland at a club called Cherry Orchard, before a year at Shamrock Rovers and then a move to Bournemouth in 2016.

He's the youngest Premier League goalkeeper to make his debut since Joe Hart in 2006, and his last first-team game came on loan for Weymouth at Gosport on New Year's Day 2018 - having begun that loan spell by scoring from his own half with a free-kick.

First up, we'll be focusing on the sunny south coast where the race for the Champions League continues.

It has been the dash for the line which no-one has seemingly wanted to win.

But victory today and Spurs will be the first one to cross it.

Which would nicely ease the pressure before Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against Ajax...
