Well, I'm off for a lie down in a dark room to catch my breath after that eventful conclusion.

Congratulations to Sheffield United now that their automatic promotion is confirmed.

Hopefully Leeds and Villa will dust themselves off before they potentially meet again in the play-offs.

There's one more week of regular season EFL action to come and we'll be back in midweek for coverage of Swansea v Derby as the Rams look to confirm their play-off place on Wednesday night.

Until then - thanks for being with us and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Opinions split across the board it seems.

Aston Villa's Tyrone Mings takes a diplomatic view in his post-match TV interview as well saying that it's entirely up to the players on the pitch at the time what they decide to do if they kick the ball out for an injury or not.

Pays tribute to the Leeds coaching staff for allowing them to walk in the equaliser.

Mings is named Man of the Match for his performance.

No doubt the debate will rumble on....

Baidu Sheikh: Bielsa is a legend. Often see the wrong things being highlighted in football, this should be highlighted just as much.

Crexit: More than likely these two will play each other again at Wembley in 3 weeks? Could be spicey.

Russell Kennedy: Absolute madness by Leeds. Under no obligation to kick ball out. The referee is in charge of the game, not the players. Utter stupidity. Play to the whistle.

    Well, well.

What an extraordinary game at Elland Road while all that was confirmed.

A manic five minutes hat you'll struggle to see ever again I imagine...

    That's that.

It finishes 1-1 but that is merely the headline. Controversy abounded after a fairly uneventful 75 minutes before it.

A point apiece for these two, but we now know that it also confirms something bigger...

Jed Steer needs to continue in the Villa goal as they've made all three subs.

He keeps out a stinging Pablo Hernandez shot as the hosts try to go for the winner.

Pinball in the Villa area and Jed Steer with a great save with the help of Tyrone Mings on the goal line.

    Tyler Roberts' low shot denied.

Steer still in some agony though which will mean even more added time!

Anything left in their locker? They'll have to wait though as Jed Steer goes down.

So near again for Leeds as Tyler Roberts puts a teasing cross into Villa's area.

Nobody racing in on it though in a white shirt as it goes behind for a goal kick that Tyrone Mings and Jed Steer shepherd out.

Jon Evans: Only credit to Leeds is Bielsa ordering the players to give Villa the goal. Rest of the Leeds team should be disgusted with themselves.

Jack Grealish has a free-kick awarded against him for once as he fouls Luke Ayling.

What's left as a twist in this bizarre game?

Remember - Villa down to 10 men now as well.

I don't think I've seen anything as bizarre before as what's occurred in this game.

Thankfully it seems common sense prevailed.

Five minutes to go, can either side find a winner?

This has become a bit of a side issue now, but Sheffield United will be promoted if the score stays the same.

    Leeds United 1-1 Aston Villa

    My word!

Very little took place in this game for 75 minutes and then it all came at once in the space of four minutes....

Very strange atmosphere around it all now.

Let's remind you that as it stands, this scoreline would confirm Sheffield United's promotion.

Tyler Roberts meanwhile nearly sneaks one in to make it 2-1 as his ball across the area just goes wide right.
