    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Cool as you like from Bruno Ecuele Manga.

Anthony Martial feeds the ball through towards Marcus Rashford in the Cardiff box but the Cardiff man somehow manages to turn the ball past from Rashford and clear. Slick.

Man Utd then have what looks like a crystal clear free-kick turned down by the referee after Sean Morrison man-handled a player to the ground.

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Excellent chance for Diogo Dalot as he receives the ball from Andreas Pereira.

He goes for glory from the edge of the box but slips as he hits it and it flies over the bar.

Manchester United Women were presented to the Old Trafford crowd before kick-off after winning the Women's Championship title and promotion to the FA WSL, just 11 months after forming.

Manager Casey Stoney looked proud as punch, and rightly so!

Before the match got under way, I spotted this photo and it made me chuckle. Neil Warnock doesn't strike me as a selfie kinda guy.

Judging by his grimace in this photo, my prediction is correct.

As a Man Utd fan, depressing watching City and Liverpool fighting for the title while we are struggling against Cardiff.

    James, Oxford

Every time I watch Man Utd there is no enjoyment any more just anger and hatred. I'd rather watch Man City and Liverpool fight for the league teams that want to play for the shirt.

Andreas Pereira goes into the book following a lunging tackle on Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

United are starting to look a bit frustrated with how things are going here. They will be glad for the half-time whistle.

Jordan Hart: Difficult as a Man United fan to watch this title race. Along with the two European finals. All our biggest rivals. Meanwhile we are losing to Cardiff. Massive rebuild job required and Ole needs to build a reputation by signing Daniel James and some other youngsters.

  12. In the title race...published at 15:43 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

In case you were wondering what is going on in the title race, Liverpool are winning, but so are City.

Leandro Bacuna is on dangerous ground here. The last Cardiff man, he trips Marcus Rashford as they chase a ball over the top.

Clumsy, but lucky. He's already on a yellow card but the referee isn't interested.

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff are wanting a second goal before half-time.

Aron Gunnarsson plays in a lovely ball towards Bobby De Cordova-Reid, but he's under pressure from Phil Jones and it goes out.

Then, Josh Murphy has a cracking curling shot from outside the box, but an outstretched David de Gea makes a fantastic fingertip save.

From there, Man Utd break and Mason Greenwood storms into the box to chase a Marcus Rashford ball.

But he hits it awkwardly with the outside of his boot and it hits the side netting. Should have done better there.

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff have a free-kick in a decent area after Ashley Young came through the back of Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

Josh Murphy whips it in but Phil Jones stretches to clear it and it goes out for a corner, which United eventually clear.

  17. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Paul Pogba tries to play a backheel through to Marcus Rashford in the box and it would have been a thing of beauty had it actually reached his team-mate.

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

End to end stuff at Old Trafford at the moment but it's the Cardiff faithful creating all the noise.

Man Utd fans are just going as red as their shirts in the Manchester sunshine.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 29 mins

    Leandro Bacuna

Cardiff's Leandro Bacuna is the first into Jonathan Moss' book today as he brings down Jesse Lingard.

Ashley Young's effort from the resulting free-kick goes high over the bar. OGS doesn't look impressed.

  20. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Man Utd 0-1 Cardiff

Josh Murphy just got such an important touch on a Mason Greenwood cross that was heading straight for Paul Pogba's right boot.

Greenwood is impressing so far, what a talent.
