The early games at the Africa Cup of Nations have often struggled to get going due to the intense heat. The late games have been a lot more fun, like Guinea’s 2-2 draw with Madagascar & Ghana’s 2-2 draw with Benin last night. It’s very tough for the players to ask them to perform in these extreme temperatures.

Both managers unhappy with some of the tackles flying in and the lack of response from the referee. The fourth official has the right idea though, he is standing miles away from both of their technical areas. Even Neil Warnock would struggle to shout at him from that distance.

Another ambitious Guinea shot but Ibrahima Cisse's long-range effort is easily saved. Their coach could do with telling them it's easier to score if you get into the other team's penalty area.

This is only 29-year-old Guinea keeper Ibrahim Kone's second cap. He used to be an Ivory Coast youth international before declaring for Guinea last year.
