    Andre Gray (17 mins)

    Lovely finish.

Gerard Deulofeu cuts inside from the left and sprays the ball across the edge of the box to Will Hughes, who then slips a pass through the defence to put Andre Gray in and the striker thumps a finish into the bottom corner.

All square, but there's definitely more goals to come in this one.

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Manchester United have a free kick around 30 yards out. Too far to have a pop? Marcus Rashford doesn't think so and it's not a bad effort, hit with power and has a good dip on it but it goes wide.

    Brighton 0-0 Southampton

Che Adams scored in his only previous league match against Brighton, for Birmingham in a 1-3 defeat at the Amex in April 2017.

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brilliant ball from Maguire and a great first touch from Rashford, but then he loses his footing and it's all a bit of a mess. He won't want to watch that back on Match of the Day.

  6. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 24 August 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Marcus Rashford is almost through on goal as an injury to Luka Milivojevic leaves the visitors exposed at the back but Martin Kelly does well to get across and usher Rashford wide before clearing the danger.

Don't think Palace have got out of their half yet. Very much focused on not conceding rather than trying to score at the moment.

Christian Fuchs' free-kick pierces the Blades wall like David Copperfield went through the Great Wall of China (yes, it did happen - honest!) but the ball drifts a few inches wide of Dean Henderson's left-hand upright.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 24 August 2019

Watford do need to be a bit more patient. though, because their desire to get a quick equaliser is leaving them open at the back and Manuel Lanzini pokes an effort just wide of the post from a cutback.

    Watford 0-1 West Ham

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

There is no panic, there should not be panic. This is a decent Watford team, we know that. At the moment, West Ham are enjoying it. We have not seen anything yet from Watford to see how they are going to reply but it's still early on.

  16. 'It's a blatant penalty'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 24 August 2019

    Watford 0-1 West Ham

    Will Perry
    Commentator, Final Score

It's the most obvious penalty you've ever seen. He has absolutely hacked down Manuel Lanzini. It looks like an absolute blatant penalty but we have to go to VAR but there is no doubt.
