Chelsea manager Frank Lampard: "Mateo Kovacic has been playing well so is an easy replacement [for Kante]. Bringing in Abraham was a choice, Tammy's mobility to play and cause Norwich problems was what I was thinking of.

"I know Norwich very well from last season and they have started well this year. Teemu Pukki is a huge threat but so are many of their other players."

Alex: Relieved to see Abraham in the starting line up, we’ve seen too many young talents discarded. Glad Lampard is giving him time, doesn’t matter where we finish this season.

We've already mentioned one former Spanish Liverpool hero, here's another - Xabi Alonso.

Now Xabi, who I personally think has great taste in music, has been speaking to BBC World Service before he makes his managerial debut today when he leads Real Sociedad B against Burgos in Segunda Division B.

    Norwich v Chelsea (12:30 BST)

    Norwich City

Norwich boss Daniel Farke: "After the first home game and win under out belt the feeling was good. We know it's going to an unbelievable difficult task today.

"I would have preferred if they had some fair results before coming here today - they'll be more greedy to get their season going today.

On Teemu Pukki: "It's not about individual statistics but team statistics. Teemu is important not only because of goals, but assists and team-work. I'm not interested if he gets the Golden Boot, it's about the team getting points."

The news dominating much of Friday, and in fact much of the week was the future of Bury - or whether the club would actually have a future.

    Here's the latest:

Bury are waiting to hear if a last-ditch offer to buy the League One club will save them from being expelled from the English Football League.

Owner Steve Dale told BBC Radio Manchester he had agreed a deal with analytics company C&N Sporting Risk, led by Henry Newman and Rory Campbell.

The EFL said it had been notified of an offer being accepted by Dale.

Bury had been given until 23:59 BST on Friday to prove their financial viability.

When your club spend about £400m on players in three seasons, as a fan you would expect a decent return. Right?

Some Everton fans must be wondering whether, again, it's going to be one of those seasons following Friday's 2-0 defeat at newly promoted Aston Villa.

The Toffees only troubled Villa on a handful of occasions who recorded their first win since promotion thanks to goals from record-signing Wesley (a new fans' favourite?) and Anwar El Ghazi.

The world of the transfer window does not just revolve around the Premier League (mostly).

It might have shut on this part of these shores, but it's still open in Scotland and on continental Europe - however, the window is shutting fast...

One player who is subject of much speculation once again is Neymar.

There aren't many words that rhyme with Pukki.

Basically what I'm trying to allude to is that Norwich's Finn is flying. He has four goals from two games - three more than Chelsea have so far.

But will this be the day the Blues come alive and show their Premi... Champi... Europa League-spot credentials?

That match kicks off at 12:30 BST. Team news at about 11.30 BST.

There are five more 15:00 BST matches, and one humdinger of a 17:30 BST game.

More details on those in a bit.
