Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Decent attack for Senegal, started by a surging Badou Ndiaye run - he carried the ball about 60 yards - but then Youssouf Sabaly's cross is headed away.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Senegal are seeing plenty of the ball but not in dangerous areas. They've only had one shot, off target, so far.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Henri Saivet's free-kick finds the head of Cheikhou Kouyate - who plays in defence for Senegal - but his glancing effort is wide.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Algeria scorer Baghdad Bounedjah gives Ismaila Sarr a little kick from behind. The referees have been lenient in this competition and he avoids a booking.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
A laser is pointed into the face of Senegal's Henri Saivet as he tries to take a free-kick. That's really poor form from the home(ish) fans.

Sulaimon Adelekan: Senegal can still win this AFCON. It's a great chance for Sadio Mane to complete a fantastic season with both club and country.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Jeers and whistles from the partisan Algerian crowd as Senegal have a break down the right wing. Their cross is caught by Rais M'Bolhi.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
I've just seen a replay of the goal as Senegal midfielder Badou Ndiaye asks goalkeeper Alfred Gomis - rooted to the spot - why he didn't try to stop it. Like the rest of the world, I suspect the keeper thought there was no way that was going in.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Almost a chance for an Algerian second as Cheikhou Kouyate misses the ball in the box but it doesn't land properly for Baghdad Bounedjah.
Sadio Mane goes on a surging run and wins a free-kick for Senegal now.

Senegal 0-1 Algeria
I wonder if that might end up as an own goal.
Anyway, Algeria have a free-kick now as Sofiane Feghouli is fouled. Senegal are shell-shocked.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
Baghdad Bounedjah's finishing has actually been pretty bad all tournament. He's worked so hard, making good runs but then missing when he gets the chance. Until now. Albeit with a huge hand.
Senegal 0-1 Algeria
I honestly can't think of a goal which has ever risen and dipped like that.
Baghdad Bounedjah
Whaaaaaaat?!
Absolutely remarkable, Algeria lead early on with their first attack.
Baghdad Bounedjah cuts in from the left and hits a shot, which takes the hugest of deflections off the sliding Salif Sane.
It loops so high into the air, almost into the Cairo sky, over the goalkeeper and then dips at the last second to enter the net.
Senegal 0-0 Algeria
Senegal straight on the attack and an Henri Saivet cross ricochets out for a goal-kick.
Senegal 0-0 Algeria
We are under way.

There’s no doubt that Algeria have played the best football at this tournament, from start to finish.
They’ve been the most consistent and sometimes the most entertaining team here in Egypt.
With Senegal, you get the feeling that they haven’t quite clicked yet, which means that perhaps there is still more to come.
Will they be as solid though without their star defender? Former Senegal midfielder Alassane N’Dour told me he’d rather it was Sadio Mane who was suspended than Kalidou Koulibaly.
For me Algeria start as slight favourites. But when I spoke to Sadio Mane on Wednesday it was clear that this is a final he’s been dreaming about since he was a a nine-year-old boy watching the great 2002 team in a Cup of Nations final on TV.
It is genuinely like a home game for Algeria as their anthem is played. A huge following at the Cairo International Stadium.
National anthems time.
