Leeds' man of the match Pablo Hernandez tells Sky Sports: "We knew we had a hard start today against Bristol City but we worked very well in pre-season.

"Today we tried to continued with the same style [as last season] and the same work.

"It was a difficult game today but the first-half goal gave us confidence. We did good work in defence and we scored three goals. It was important to win the first game."

The Leeds players stroll over to thank their travelling fans, who are delighted.

Kalvin Phillips - who has been linked with a move away from the club - gives his shirt to a young supporter, and receives a warm round of applause.
