    Caretaker Jimmy Phillips had hoped to add four players to his threadbare squad before today's game but only managed to get experienced centre-half Jack Hobbs in in time for the visit to Gillingham.

    A Connor Ogilvie goal has given the hosts the lead against the Trotters, who are currently on -11.

    Elsewhere, Tyler Walker has put Lincoln 2-0 up at home to Fleetwood with two goals in as many minutes.

    This is a battle between the current top two in the Championship and a win for either side could see them sit five points clear of third over the international break.

    Exeter City are one of two unbeaten sides left in League Two and the Grecians' early-season form has given them a one-point lead at the top of the table.

    Today Matt Taylor's men host a Mansfield side who have won one of their first five games.

    Plymouth Argyle and Forest Green Rovers complete the top three, with the Pilgrims journeying to Northampton and Rovers going to the other unbeaten side in Newport County.

    Stevenage and Scunthorpe United are the only two sides yet to pick up a win in the division this season, and both have the chance to get off the mark at home.

    Boro welcome fourth-placed Macclesfield Town while the Iron entertain Carlisle United.
