The corner is half-cleared to Ainsley Maitland-Niles outside the box. He hits a first-time effort, which Harry Kane blocks before it can reach the goal. I'm not sure Hugo Lloris was going to save that.

Another good Arsenal attack down the left, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang crosses and Danny Rose has to touch it away from an attacker in the centre.

Arsenal have won more Premier League games (60) and have a higher win rate (61%) than any other side in games played in September.

They have not lost a north London derby in September since 1969, winning six and drawing four of 10 since.

    Arsenal v Spurs (16:30 BST)

Spurs have won only three of their last 12 matches in all competitions and seven of their last 21.

They are without an away win in the league for seven matches, their worst run since December 2011 to April 2012.

Tottenham and Watford are the only two sides to have conceded first in all three of their league games so far this season. The last time Spurs did so in their first four Premier League matches of a season was in 2008-09.

It doesn't seem like Tottenham can win the Premier League this season and I think Mauricio Pochettino is frustrated.

I do not think Spurs can replicate what they did last season in terms of reaching the Champions League final. They may win a trophy but I think they have peaked under Maucricio Pochettino.

  16. 'We had a strong personality'published at 16:25 British Summer Time 1 September 2019

    Everton 3-2 Wolves

    Everton

Everton manager Marco Silva speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “It was a good competitive match and we deserved the three points. We started well and I didn’t like the way we conceded but we always showed a fantastic reaction.

“If you look at our match at Aston Villa we did well for the first 20-25 minutes. Different game at Goodison we started strongly and then had a strong personality to come back when they scored. Wolves came here to be solid and go at us on the counter attack.

"We didn’t give their wing-backs a lot of space to threaten us so we controlled things really well."

On Fabian Delph, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean: "They did really well. I prefer to look at the team rather than individuals. For Fabian and Alex it is easier because they know the Premier League. We are talking about high quality players. They know the league, intensity and the opponents.

"Moise did well but we are talking about a boy who was 19 in February. He worked well but he needs more time to adapt to know the players, teams and even the referees."
