    Burnley 2-0 Norwich

Chris Wood is on a hat-trick and looks to get in behind, he hasn't got the pace to get away though and in the end goes down for a free-kick right on the edge of the area.

Gerard Ryan: Starting to lose faith in Marco Silva. Although he seemed to have got his zonal marking sorted out eventually last season, it's back to the bad old days again this season. Add to that the 1 up front with 3 attacking from midfield just isn't working. We need two up front. Kean and Tosun should be given a chance and how he dropped Iwobi just doesn't make sense.

Andy, Lanigan: 20 goals conceded from set pieces under Silva and his ridiculous Zonal marking nonsense.. Fuming.

Keith Mc: Dear Watford, do you want Marco Silva back, cos he ain't doing much for us?

Russy D: What is amazing about this City performance, is just how much Sterling has been holding us back! ;)

A Gibbon: Come on City, step it up! Double figures please.

I wouldn't say the home crowd were on the backs of their players yet - but they're thinking about it. Lucas Digne is a class above the rest of them and another good cross in goes begging.

Frustration rains down from the Gwladys.

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

Kevin de Bruyne is unplayable. He has been untouchable today, his play has masterminded the score. The way they started the game was probably the best you will ever see. Manchester City blew Watford away. Watford actually had two chances but then they got left in the dust.

  10. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

Those half-time team talks haven't worked for Watford.

    Man City 6-0 Watford

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Whatever they said at half time, it's not worked.

Lovely touch from David Silva, really cool from Bernardo Silva to take it in his stride with a class touch and finish smoothly.

    Watford. Absolutely dreadful.

GOAL - Man City 6-0 Watfordpublished at 48 mins

    Bernardo Silva

This was against the run of play...

David Silva and Bernardo Silva dance through tackle after tackle, turning and spinning as they go.

The ball falls for Bernardo a few yards out and he pokes it under the keeper and into the back of the net.

These two clashed in the first half and George Baldock again tangles with Bernard at the far post. The Brazilian wants a penalty but referee Simon Hooper and his mates in the VAR office say no.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:05 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

Chris, Newark: We're in yellow, they are in blue. We are shooting that way.

Dunc, Shoreham: Sorry to break it to you lads, I think the double is off.

JP: Look, it could be worse. They still have 6 other players who haven't scored yet.

  20. Uncharted territory for Sanchez Florespublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 5-0 Watford

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

We’ve been asking you what the Watford half-time team-talk might be, but this is uncharted territory for Hornets boss Quique Sanchez Flores, in the Premier League at least.

His Watford side only conceded more than twice four times during the season he spent in charge of them in 2015-16, and they never shipped more than four goals in a single match, or more than three in a first half.

Mind you, they did manage 23 shots in the second half of their draw with Arsenal last weekend, and scored twice to rescue a point... so maybe this game is not over yet?

(I think we can safely say it is by the way!)
