What is happening to Spurs? At times we look majestic at other times we look Shambolic! This doesn't look anything like the team that challenged for a title a few seasons ago !

Spurs fan here. How long are we going to keep letting Serge Aurier in our team? We spent 23 million on a right back who lets us down almost every game. Should play Walker-Peters instead as at least he has some potential.

  5. Why scoring a penalty has never been easierpublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

BBC football analyst Pat Nevin looks at why recent rule changes have tipped the balance in favour of penalty takers, rather than goalkeepers, when it comes to the psychology of spot-kicks.

Some people find it easier than others, though, right Luka?

Josh Verrills: Toughest game since the start of the season today for West Ham; huge chance to put down a marker for the season and come away with a positive result against an inform and dangerous Bournemouth side. Diop and Ogbonna key in keeping Wilson and King quiet today

I mean we probably won't.... But there is a chance that West Ham will be 2nd overnight... Madness!

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Wolves 1-0 Watford

Half time at Molineux with Matt Doherty's goal the difference at the break.

  8. 'It's been a great game'published at 15:51 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Tottenham 2-1 Southampton

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don't know how Hugo Lloris is feeling, he must be so relieved. After that howler, he must be so pleased to see Harry Kane get the ball in the back of the net so quick. It's been a great game. Southampton have taken it to Spurs. That strange moment from Lloris and the sending off changed the atmosphere here but they go into it leading. The second 45 minutes it's going to be a hard push for Tottenham.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Bournemouth 1-1 West Ham

Yarmolenko's opener, cancelled out by King.

Pretty even stuff so far, but West Ham possibly should lead through a big late chance.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Tottenham 2-1 Southampton

    And breathe.

    What a first 45 minutes!

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Luka Milivojevic's penalty is the difference, but Norwich are far from meek. They've threatened on a number of occasions.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Burnley

A very dominant 45 minutes for Aston Villa.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Chelsea 0-0 Brighton

Been mostly Chelsea, who have had a string of decent chances but failed to take any. No prizes for guessing the happier side.

  14. Postpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Bournemouth 1-1 West Ham

Oh, so close for West Ham. The ball is driven in low from the right and after Pablo Fornals' effort is blocked, an acrobatic follow-up from Felipe Anderson is tipped over.

From the resulting corner, Angelo Ogbonna is inches from connecting and restoring the Hammers' lead.

  15. Postpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Wolves 1-0 Watford

There's a big delay at Molineux with Raul Jimenez down injured. It looks like he has hurt his lower back and after a bit of treatment on the pitch he is able to walk gingerly to the touchline.

  16. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Tottenham 2-1 Southampton

    Neil Johnston
BBC Sport at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

    This is a ridiculous game.

Harry Kane puts 10-man Spurs back in front thanks to an assist by Christian Eriksen after Hugo Lloris gifted Southampton an equaliser.

    Nothing to see here...

  17. Postpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Burnley

Almost a second for a very comfortable Aston Villa as Jack Grealish stings Nick Pope's hands with a fierce, curling effort.

  18. 'It's been quite a brilliant game'published at 15:45 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Tottenham 2-1 Southampton

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

You will not see a better goal on the break all weekend. This game has reserved - now Southampton have all the possession and it's Tottenham that have hit them on the break. Superb goal from Harry Kane. It's been quite a brilliant game.

  19. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich

Norwich are taking this game to Palace. They come forward down the left and Marco Stiepermann teases a ball across the box that runs agonisingly away from the onrushing Teemu Pukki.

GOAL - Tottenham 2-1 Southamptonpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Harry Kane (44 mins)

    Harry Kane to the rescue!

Lovely move involving Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and Kane ends with the striker taking a touch inside the box before driving a low strike into the net.

That will go some way to sparing Hugo Lloris' blushes.
