Goals galore? Check. (That's 34 in nine Premier League meetings between these sides).

    VAR a talking point? Check.

As Ben said earlier, this game could have gone either way - so an entertaining draw is probably a fair outcome, and warm applause from both sets of fans at the final whistle indicates so.

    Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham

No further chances in stoppage time with the two sides seemingly happy to settle for a point.

Would have been harsh for one of them to go home empty handed.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 88 mins

    Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham

Looks as though Aaron Cresswell tugs Joshua King's shirt in the box but it's not given. The video assistant referee agrees with Stuart Attwell.

West Ham have had control of the game since that Aaron Cresswell goal, Bournemouth have been rather pinned back in their own half. They even defended a throw with all 11 players within 20 yards of Aaron Ramsdale's goal.

The visitors have made their three substitutions, Eddie Howe has two left and it looks like he's contemplating a change. Lewis Cook to unlock the Hammers defence? Simon Francis to shore up the home defence? Twist or stick?

  8. Postpublished at 84 mins

Declan Rice and Dominic Solanke have tame efforts at each side, with both sides looking to muster a winner.

  9. Postpublished at 81 mins

Time for the Cherries to bring on some fresh legs, with Arnaut Danjuma replacing winger Harry Wilson.

Just when West Ham were readying Jack Wilshere to come on, and Callum Wilson missed a gilt-edged chance to make it 3-1, Aaron Cresswell pops up with the equaliser for the Hammers.

Wilshere receives a warm round of applause from the Main Stand as he is introduced. He spent the 2016-17 season on loan here, and clearly made a few friends - not least the Cherries' skipper today Steve Cook. He and Wilshere recently holidayed together in Ibiza with their families., external

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

    Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham

The Hammers swiftly make their second change, with former Bournemouth loanee Jack Wilshere coming on for Mark Noble in midfield.

And the Hammers left-back makes Callum Wilson pay.

Within 90 seconds of that miss, Andriy Yarmolenko picks out Felipe Anderson in the box and he cushions it down for Cresswell, who volleys it into the turf and past Aaron Ramsdale. That's his second goal in two games.

Harry Wilson cuts in from the right and plays a fine slide-rule pass into the path of Callum Wilson. He pokes it goalwards but Roberto saves with his feet. Great chance that.

  15. Postpublished at 70 mins

Andriy Yarmolenko crosses from the right towards Felipe Anderson, whose downwards header at the far post is parried by Aaron Ramsdale. Thankfully there are a couple of defenders on hand to clear the rebound.

Nathan Ake's goal at Southampton last weekend was Bournemouth's fifth Premier League goal from set-pieces this season (excluding penalties), the highest total in the league at the time. It would have been six, if not for VAR ruling out Ake's latest effort.

Eddie Howe has been out in his technical area, urging his players not to drop the tempo after starting the second half so well.

  19. CLOSE!published at 65 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 West Ham

Bournemouth break with Jack Stacey lofting a ball into Callum Wilson, who nudges it past his man just outside the box before firing straight at Roberto.

The West Ham keeper parries it wide for a corner, from which Dominic Solanke heads well wide.

  20. CLOSE!published at 63 mins

Felipe Anderson and Pablo Fornals link up outside the home box before Anderson lays off for Andriy Yarmolenko who curls a low effort beyond Aaron Ramsdale...and less than a yard beyond the far post too.
