CFR Cluj manager Dan Petrescu on Sportsound: "I'm sure we deserved to win. We were unlucky not to win.
"I'm not happy with the result but I'm happy with the performance. We played better than we expect. We missed two unbelievable chances.
"Celtic have the tradition, the fans, the players. Of course they have the advantage but you never know."

Celtic captain Scott Brown on Sportsound: "CFR Cluj are very, very direct. I think we dealt with that. We came away from home, we got the result we were looking for.
"Overall, I think we've done really well. We got that away goal that we were looking for."
And on Kieran Tierney, Brown added: "Kieran's a fantastic player. There's always going to be interest in him. He will be a big miss if he goes."

Quote MessageKieran Tierney's injury doubts are not that little. This is an area of concern. Obviously, Arsenal would have checked him out but he has played nine games in 2019. He's had double hernia operations. He's had pelvic problems. He's got all the talent to succeed but you just hope he's got all the fitness to get him there as well
Celtic manager Neil Lennon on Kieran Tierney: "I don't know anything. I've said the last few days it wouldn't surprise me [if Arsenal came back in for the player]. I don't have any confirmation of that at all."
Asked if he would like to reinvest any funds from the proposed Tierney deal, he replied: "I hope so.
"If he goes, he goes with everyone's best wishes. He's an outstanding talent and a great kid."

Celtic manager Neil Lennon on Sportsound: "It's a great result. Obviously, the away goal's priceless.
"We looked really dangerous. They scored a great goal on the counter attack. Our reaction to the goal was superb.
"James Forrest is a big game player. He's come up again with a really important goal.
"We've got home advantage now and we need to make that count. Defensively, we're still a work in progress. We're making steady progress."
Scott Sinclair may also be on his way out of Celtic after manager Neil Lennon revealed prior to kick-off there was "interest" in the winger.

Quote MessageIt's the right age and the right time for Celtic for Kieran Tierney. He's won everything he can at Celtic outside of Europe and he's going to Arsenal to try and do something in Europe, the Premier League, advance his career, stake his claim for that Scotland left-back spot. He just needs to get fit and try to put his best foot forward. This could be very good for him

Celtic leave Romania with a draw and an away goal. Still work to do for Neil Lennon's side but they are well placed to reach the Champions League play-off round after James Forrest's first-half goal.
