It's been a good night for Son. He had to feel his way into the game but he got himself onto the score sheet on a comfortable night for Spurs and there was a good round of applause from the supporters.

  2. RED CARD - Atalanta 1-1 Manchester Citypublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Claudio Bravo

He is box office isn't he?! Claudio Bravo only came on at half time and now he's been sent off! He's out of his area, naturally, and brings down Josip Ilicic.

NO (OTHER) KEEPER ON THE BENCH - someone is going to have to go in...

Red Star Belgrade 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Oooohhhh ahhhh that looks painful. Red Star forward Milan Pavkov lands horribly on his left ankle and it bends in ways that it wasn't designed to.

Red Star have made their three subs and Pavkov leads the field on a golf trolley. I doubt he'll be back on.

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

It's all rather petering out in Milan as Joao Cancelo is caught late and there's a booking handed out. Into the last 10 minutes.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

Red Star Belgrade 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur

An excellent night for Son Heung-min - he comes off and on comes Ryan Sessegnon for his first taste of the Champions League.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

Sergio Aguero is on for the last 15 minutes - he replaces Gabriel Jesus.

Claudio Bravo gathers in a cross under his own crossbar. Still Atalanta looking the more likely.

Lillie O' Neil: I thought Red Star were supposed to be be better at home.

Chris Baldwin: Yes Spurs have played well tonight and a much needed win but this Red Star side must be one of the worst ever to play in the Champions League. Awful.

Robbie Kahar: Great play by Spurs. Quality finish of Son. Nice touch in celebration. Just a very likeable lad.

  10. Postpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

A reminder that City will qualify with a win tonight, just over 20 minutes left of normal time in Milan. Pep's side haven't looked too dangerous in the second half.

    Red Star Belgrade 0-3 Tottenham

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC 5 Live

Spurs have been allowed to do what they want tonight but I'm surprised Red Star haven't put them under more pressure with that fully changed back four again. Very comfortable for Spurs now.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

Red Star Belgrade 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Christian Eriksen is on for Spurs - he replaces Dele Alli.

It was a slick goal from Spurs but it was all about the sublime pass from Harry Kane.

  14. Postpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

Atalanta the better side since half time - a draw would still see City five points clear at the top of the group though.

  15. goal

GOAL - Red Star Belgrade 0-3 Tottenham Hotspurpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Son (61 mins)

He's scored again! Spurs have wrapped up this win in a matter of minutes. Harry Kane finds Danny Rose on the overlap with a beauty of a pass, Rose flashes a square ball across and Son is there to slam into the roof of the net.

Again, he barely celebrates. We all know that the injury sustained by Andre Gomes was horrific but surely Son is allowed to enjoy a goal?!

    Red Star Belgrade 0-2 Tottenham

What a goal for Spurs. It was all about Ndombele from his own half, driving right through with determination to make things happen.

  17. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

Atalanta are well up for this now as a rasping shot on the dge of the area is charged down. Just before that Son goal Gabriel Jesus threatened to break clear and was smashed down.

  18. goal

GOAL - Red Star Belgrade 0-2 Tottenham Hotspurpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Son (57 mins)

    What a finish that is!

Spurs come away on the counter, Tanguy Ndombele is powerful and strong to motor past two men and tee up Dele Alli on the edge of the area, he then finds Son inside the area and the forward mullers a shot into the roof of the net.

Son does a praying gesture and then appears to apologise to the TV cameras. A whole new version of 'not wishing to celebrate.'

Spurs have been a bit sloppy in possession and now you can see more adventure in Red Star Belgrade with their full-back Milan Rodic a little high up on the left hand side.

  20. Postpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

Claudio Bravo is 30 yards from goal to head a ball away...well done in fact. He just spices up life at the back for City.
