    Lokomotiv Moscow 1-1 Juventus

Aaron Ramsey is playing at the tip of a midfield diamond, possibly my least favourite of the formations, usually offering the least of all worlds. Ramsey's pass into the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo is a cracker, he then lays it off and there's no winger, Sami Khedira is nominally on the right but he has neither the pace nor the guile to get on the end of it.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Lokomotiv Moscow 1-1 Juventus

He's hardly touched the ball in the opening half hour but Gonzalo Higuain almost puts Juve back ahead with a brilliant goal! Sami Khedira lofts an early ball over the Loko defence, Higuain waits for it, dropping over his shoulder and the Argentine's volley is crisp.

Guilherme, at fault for the goal, makes a blinder of a one-handed save.

A decent 5-a-side team here. These four + you.

The atmosphere inside the RZD Arena is terrific as former West Brom flop Grzegorz Krychowiak fires a shot on target. Not that being a West Brom loanee who failed to shine is the end of the world. Just ask Serge Gnabry...

All steady Bayern possession so far - managerless Bayern, of course. They qualify with a win this evening.

  7. CLOSE!published at 18:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Lokomotiv Moscow 1-1 Juventus

Ahhh Lokomotiv should be ahead! I've rarely seen a Juventus side so passive in defence.

A cross comes in, goalscorer Aleksey Miranchuk has a total air shot at the cross when he surely would have scored, it's then put back in from the right and he heads over.

    A great chance!

The hosts are looking good in attack but twice they pick the wrong pass at the wrong time. Juve are in for a proper exam here.

  11. 'We were strong defensively'published at 18:12 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    FT: Vitoria Guimaraes 1-1 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Unai Emery tells BT Sport: "The players tried and we were close to winning but in the last minute, they pushed a lot and scored. In the Europa League it's about being first in the group and at the moment we are. It's still a possibility to be [finish] first.

"We tried. They are a very competitive team and it was very important for us to be strong defensively. I think we did that and we did better offensively. It's not easy to have a lot of chances. We want to win but in the table we are the first and that is our target."

  13. Can anyone go through tonight?published at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Yep. Plenty of teams. Ready?

Group A: PSG will be through if they beat Brugge. A draw will do if Galatasaray don't beat Real Madrid. Pencil them in.

Group B: Bayern Munich are through if they beat Olympiacos, or if they draw and Spurs win.

Group C: Manchester City will qualify if they beat Atalanta.

Group D: Juventus are through with a win in Moscow, Atletico Madrid can also qualify if they beat Leverkusen and Lokomotiv lose.

  14. goal

GOAL - Lokomotiv Moscow 1-1 Juventuspublished at 18:09 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Aleksey Miranchuk (12 mins)

Juventus' back four, where are you?! Let's be having you!

Aleksey Miranchuk wins a header from a cross on the left, it's a good header and hits the inside of the post. But three defenders just wait for the ball to bounce out and Miranchuk is able to poke it in from close range.

  17. 'We can't defend' - Keownpublished at 18:05 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Vitoria Guimaraes 1-1 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown on BT Sport: "There are problems all over the pitch. It can quickly be turned around. If I was involved in the weekend I'd go on the attack because we can't defend.

"We are in danger of losing some of the identity of the team built under Arsene Wenger. We cannot defend and have lost that attacking flavour.

"I think it's a personal thing of how you mark up in set-pieces. There are huge gaps. All they did was put a ball in and run through the hole. they could put a double decker bus through that! It's too simple. It's basic decision-making and they need to change."

    Scratch this whole entry.

{As discussed, that means that Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored against more teams in the Champions League than anyone else.

    34 in total. Name them?}

  19. goal

GOAL - Lokomotiv Moscow 0-1 Juventuspublished at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 6 November 2019

    Aaron Ramsey (3 mins)

    Whose goal is that?!

Could be Ronaldo, could be Aaron Ramsey, could be an own goal!

It's awful goalkeeping, whatever. Cristiano Ronaldo shoots at goal from a free-kick, a mile out and wide on the left, it bounces in front of keeper Guilherme who drops it like Dave Beasant v Norwich 1992.

Ramsey arrives to toe-poke it in from bang on the line. The goal was originally credited to Ronaldo but it's now Ramsey's.
