    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

If Arsenal can find a winner, they could then qualify for the last 32 tomorrow, if Standard Liege fail to beat Eintracht Frankfurt in Belgium.

Vitoria - bottom of Group F - really need a winner of their own in these final 14 minutes or so, if they want to keep their hopes of staying in the Europa League alive.

But neither side looks like scoring at the minute.

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

The ball comes back to Arsenal's Joe Willock outside the box, but his strike flies high, high over the bar.

That's only Arsenal's fifth effort at goal of the game, all of which have been off target.

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

We've got just under 20 minutes to go. If you're just finishing work and checking in for the first time, you haven't missed much!

Vitoria hit the bar in the first half and Arsenal's much-changed XI are yet to make the home side's keeper have to make a save.

    It's not been a thriller...

Can any of the subs that have come on liven up this game?

Alexandre Lacazette might seem the most likely to do so.

The hosts' Brazilian forward Davidson goes off and on comes attacking Portuguese midfielder Rochinha.

  6. YELLOW CARD (Holding)published at 67 mins

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Rob Holding clips Lucas Evangelista's heels and is shown a yellow card. That might be a tad harsh, based on the replay. I don't think Holding meant that.

  7. SUBSTITUTION (Arsenal)published at 65 mins

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Here comes Alexandre Lacazette for Arsenal. He's on, replacing 18-year-old Bukayo Saka.

The home side make their first change, as their Pepe is replaced by French midfielder Denis Poha.

  10. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Matteo Guendouzi slips a good ball through to Pepe in the penalty area, but the flag is up for offside against Pepe.

Replays show he was onside, by quite a margin. That'll frustrate the Gunners.

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

We're approaching the hour mark now and we're still waiting for Arsenal's first effort on target of this game.

The closest they've come to a goal was when Rob Holding headed over the bar early on.

  12. SUBSTITUTION (Arsenal)published at 55 mins

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Matteo Guendouzi comes on as Dani Ceballos is withdrawn. Ceballos is still not moving quite right. Hopefully that's not a hamstring injury.

  13. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Dani Ceballos is holding his hamstring and moving gingerly. This is worrying for Arsenal.

    HT: Vitoria Guimaraes 0-0 Arsenal

Elsewhere, Jürgen Klopp has said "we cannot carry on like this" after it was decided his Liverpool side will play two games in two days in December.

The Reds face Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on 17 December before playing the Club World Cup semi-final in Qatar the next day.

"We have to find solutions," said Klopp. "The problems are obvious.

"Every year we do the same again. Some find it funny - 'five games in three days - let's see how it works out'."

Arsenal are yet to test Vitoria's 36-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Douglas.

At the other end, the hosts have tried their luck from range several times and Emiliano Martinez has made some good saves.

The Portuguese side's Pepe has gone closest to opening the scoring, hitting the bar with a cracking effort.
