That was much better by England, a bit more tempo, a lot more movement. It's a good effort by Sterling and it's a good save. Much better England. Shame we didn't get anything from the result corner.

    Kosovo 0-0 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

About Kosovo's chance a couple of minutes ago

England have to be a little bit closer in blocking those chances. Atdhe Nuhiu did not really have to jump. I think Tyrone Mings should have been closer to him and have made him jump. It was quite a weak header to say that England were not really pressuring.

    Kosovo 0-0 England

Tyrone Mings gets a bit lucky as a bounce deceives him but Atdhe Nuhiu fouls the England defender, and it's a free out.

  12. England struggling with the surfacepublished at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2019

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Pristina

England have not quite got to grips with this yet. The surface is posing problems. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was left limping after one slip and Raheem Sterling has suffered the same fate on a couple of occasions.

    Kosovo 0-0 England

Best chance of the game as Benjamin Kololli's left-wing cross finds Kosovo target man Atdhe Nuhiu in the centre but the Sheffield Wednesday man's looping header is held - at the second attempt - by Nick Pope.

England's first attack now. Harry Kane has a shot blocked, then his fellow Harry - Maguire - does too. Winks can't make it a hat-trick.

  16. 'Ox is up but limping'published at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2019

    Kosovo 0-0 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is limping but he is up and running and that is good to see. The players have just shaken hands. With the injuries he has had, it's always worrying to see him down in pain on the floor.

This doesn't look good. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is down in pain. He went down awkwardly following a tackle. But actually it looks like he's OK to play on. Stand down.
