It's the weirdest draw. There are five teams outside the Premier League and four of them are playing each other. It's incredibly good for them because at least two of them will get through to the next round.

What will be interesting is the teams the top teams put out. They probably would think they can't put so many kids out but if you're Chelsea you're probably thinking, "yes we can!"

Football fans, across the board, tend to struggle with the concept of 'random' draws...

I don't want to sound like a bitter Liverpool fan but... Man City always get so lucky with Cup draws.

Wonder what's on Luke Matheson's timetable for the morning? Double science, interspersed with an interview with Piers Morgan?

FT: Oxford Utd 4-0 West Ham

    Andy Townsend
Ex-Chelsea midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

The performance of the evening has to be Oxford, to knock four past this West Ham team is an incredible result for them.

On West Ham: It's a tournament that with the quality and the depth in the squad, it's a competition West Ham should be looking to progress in. Manuel Pellegrini had that defeat to AFC Wimbledon last season that was humbling but this was on another level to that. To get beat four, that's a trouncing. They were well and truly beaten.

Man Utd 1-1 Rochdale (5-3 pens)

    Keith Hill
Bolton manager on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Outstanding from Rochdale. They've taken Manchester United - one of the kings of the Premier League - all the way to penalties. Just one missed penalty was difference.

There wasn't too much difference between the sides on the night. United have got away with it.

I'm glad Rochdale withstood the pressure to reach penalties. An outstanding evening for everyone connected with Rochdale. With Luke Matheson, the heart of English football is still beating with success stories like that.

There will be no regrets at all. How can you regret going through the emotions of this wonderful game? You've got to remember and harness these occasions. Everybody should be really proud.

Aleksandar Todorov: Even though we've won this on penalties it doesn't disguise the fact how utterly shambolic and poor Manchester United are. Ole will probably say that "we've played brilliantly and are worthy winners tonight". Far from the truth I'm afraid.

Field: Fair play to Rochdale. Best thing about tonight is no United player celebrated, it was a look of embarrassment. They know themselves that wasn't good enough.

Burton have done for Premier League opposition once again. They go into the hat for the last 16 draw.
