  1. goal

GOAL: Leeds 1-0 West Brompublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Ezgjan Alioski (38 mins)

Leeds v West BromImage source, Rex Features

    Leeds have the breakthrough!

A counter-attack looks like it has broken down as Jack Harrison cuts back on the edge of the area and twists and turns trying to beat his man.

But the winger holds onto the ball and finds the overlapping left-back Ezgjan Alioski.

He hits the ball low and hard across goal, and finds the bottom right-hand corner.

The ball went in off Kyle Bartley - and that might go down as an own goal as i'm not sure Alioski's effort was going on target.

  2. RED CARD (Swift)published at 20:22 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Reading 0-1 Fulham

We've only had 20 minutes here but Reading midfielder John Swift has just been sent off for a second bookable offence.

It was a rash challenge on Denis Odoi and, already on a yellow card, he left the referee no choice.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

Leeds have been forced into a substitution through injury.

Captain Liam Cooper is replaced by Gaetano Berardi after the centre-back pulled up.

That looks like it is a muscle strain of some sort.

Another caution to report - West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers has gone into the book.

  4. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Stoke 0-0 Huddersfield

A couple of chances for Stoke.

First Christopher Schindler does well to get across and block a Lee Gregory effort from close range.

Moments later, Tom Ince drags a left-footed effort from 20-yards wide of goal.

  5. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Blackburn 0-0 Nottm Forest

Forest striker Lewis Grabban gets the ball at his feet on the edge of the area.

He pulls the trigger and.... doesn't quite get hold of it.

It's a straightforward save for the keeper.

  6. goal

GOAL: Reading 0-1 Fulhampublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Tom Cairney (13 mins)

Reading v FulhamImage source, Rex Features

    What a classy finish!

A lovely break from the visitors and the ball falls to Tom Cairney at the edge of the area. He steadies himself, before curling the ball into the far corner.

  7. BORO HIT THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Preston

Moments after Preston claim a penalty for a challenge by Daniel Ayala, Boro hit the woodwork!

Britt Assombalonga heads onto the post from close range after getting onto the end of a cross from Paddy McNair.

  8. Postpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

Another free-kick to Leeds and another booking.

Patrick Bamford heads towards the byline and Kyle Bartley slides in and the Leeds forward goes down.

Bartley claims it's a dive. There may have not been too much contact, but Bartley's intent to stop Bamford was clear.

That's a yellow for the Baggies defender. Leeds can't create anything from the free-kick.

  9. YELLOW CARD (Robson-Kanu)published at 20:10 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

West Brom striker Hal Robson-Kanu joins Leeds left-back Alioski in the book.

The Welshman clipped Liam Cooper after the defender mopped up a loose ball.

It's not been a dirty game, but the ref is punishing any wayward challenges.

  10. Postpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Stoke 0-0 Huddersfield

A massive let-off for Stoke in the early stages.

Karlan Grant gets down the left and pops in a low cross.

The ball breaks to Elias Kachunga at the back post, but the forward skews his effort back across goal and wide.

The Terriers man should have got that effort on target, at the very least.

  11. YELLOW CARD (Alioski)published at 20:07 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

West Brom launch a counter attack with some slick passing and movement.

The ball from the left flashes across goal and seems to be heading away from danger.

But Darnell Furlong keeps it alive and is then brought down by a sliding challenge from Gjanni Alioski.

The North Macedonia international gets a yellow card for that, and has to be careful for well over 70 minutes now.

At the other end, Leeds claim a penalty as the ball pops up onto Kyle Bartley, but referee David Coote is not moved.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:06 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

Reading v FulhamImage source, Rex Features

Josh Barrett plays through Yakou Meite but his effort is saved by Marcus Bettinelli.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:01 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Wigan 0-0 Birmingham

First chance for Blues and it's nearly the first goal. Daniel Crowley runs at the Wigan defence before striking an effort narrowly wide of David Marshall's net. A good game this one.

  14. Postpublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Preston

Boro have the first meaningful chance on Teesside, as Marcus Browne's low shot from inside the area is saved by Preston keeper Declan Rudd with his legs.

  16. Postpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Wigan 0-0 Birmingham

It's all Wigan at the moment in Lancashire, yet they've got nothing to show for it so far.

A couple of half chances for Kieffer Moore but nothing to trouble Blues keeper Lee Camp.

  17. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

Leeds v West BromImage source, Rex Features

Ten minutes gone at Elland Road and there hasn't been a great deal of goal-mouth action.

Albion keeper Sam Johnstone did turn one effort behind at his near post, but otherwise it has been a battle for possession.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:52 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Hull 0-0 Sheff Wed

Close! So nearly the opener as Barry Bannan's curling shot is well saved by Hull keeper George Long.

The visitors on top so far.

  19. Postpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 1 October 2019

    Blackburn 0-0 Nottm Forest

Forest have the first chance at Ewood Park, as Joe Lolley has an effort from close range deflected narrowly wide of Christian Walton's goal.
