Hello! And welcome to live coverage of a big battle at the bottom of the Premier League between a couple of familiar newbies.

Too early to call this a 'six pointer'?

Every so often during countless hours of university life spent playing Championship Manager 5 a glitch in the game threatened to derail the hopes of the Stockport County side I was trying to shape into Premier League title winners and Champions League hopefuls.

For some big European games, the 25-man squad had not been registered. Huge problems. All the big names - Jon Daly, Kevin Ellison, Kevin Kyle - could not play, with the red box of ineligibility dotted all over the first team squad.

Daniel Farke will feel his Premier League game has similarly malfunctioned...

Norwich v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

Norwich boss Daniel Farke has more players in the treatment room than the changing room at the moment - including two injured goalkeepers.

So that means third-choice stopper Michael McGovern, the 35-year-old Northern Ireland international who spent all his career in Scotland before moving to Carrow Road three years ago, makes his first Premier League start as expected.

Attacking midfielder Todd Cantwell was a slight doubt but is fit to play, while left-back Jamal Lewis and centre-back Ben Godfrey were both passed fit yesterday.

The news from the Villa side is... there is no 'news'. The same starting XI and bench for boss Dean Smith as the squad which drew against Burnley last weekend.

Left-back Matt Targett has shaken off the injury which forced him off last week, while striker Jonathan Kodjia and centre-back James Chester are not yet fit enough to make the squad.
