    Aberdeen v St Johnstone (15.00)

So often we hear about players coming back to haunt their old clubs. Aberdeen will be hoping that is not the case against St Johnstone in the Granite City.

After a disappointing couple of seasons with the Dons, striker Stevie May has returned for a second spell with Saints.

And he may well feel he has a point to prove, as well as some unfinished business, at Pittodrie.

Looking at the bigger picture, fourth-top Aberdeen will be out to build on an impressive win over Ross County last time out. As for Saints, they are bottom of the table and desperate for a victory that could kick start their season.

  2. 'Hamilton knocked Celtic off rhythm'published at 14:08 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    FT: Hamilton Academical 0-1 Celtic

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

In the first half, Celtic were dominant. They got into their groove early but didn't test Fon Williams enough. At half-time, Brian Rice has told Hamilton to get tighter and it knocked Celtic off their rhythm. But, equally, there were not many moments where Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Foster was tested

  3. 'Celtic looking ominous'published at 14:07 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Quote Message

Celtic are setting a blistering pace at the top of the table. They weren't sparkling today, but that is how you win titles. They keep asking the questions to Rangers and Aberdeen and they now have to step up this afternoon

It's three points and, for Celtic, it doesn't matter how you get them. Compliments to Hamilton, they played really well in the second half. But it's a relentless charge from Celtic, five wins from five, and their fans go home happy

  11. FULL-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-1 Celticpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

Celtic got the goal early but are left breathing a sigh of relief at the final whistle.

Neil Lennon's reigning champions maintain their 100% record to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership to six points.

It is all thanks to James Forrest's seventh goal of the season, which came after four minutes.

Accies have done well to stay in the game considering they went behind to the champions after only four minutes.

But they are running out of time if they are to secure a point thanks to a late goal.

Four minutes to go and counting.

Neil Lennon will only be thinking of three points right now. Celtic just need to manage the game and see it out. There's no need to go chasing a second goal
