  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Derby centre-back Matt Clarke can't play on.

It looks like it is a problem with his left knee from that earlier challenge by Ryan Yates.

George Evans is going to replace him, and that will mean a reshuffle.

Krystian Bielik will have to fill in at the back.

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Matty Cash puts in a dangerous ball into the Derby box from the right, but it somehow goes all the way across goal without anyone getting a touch on it.

Forest win the first corner of the game.

Joe Lolley's delivery from the right is low but the ball works its way to Ben Watson at the far post, whose shot is blocked by Curtis Davies.

    Derby smuggle the ball clear.

  4. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

There is a break in play and concern for Derby County as centre-back Matt Clarke needs some treatment.

But the on-loan Brighton man is fine to continue for now.

  5. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

First bit of intervention from referee Darren England, who has to have a word with Ryan Yates after a firm challenge from the Forest midfielder on Matt Clarke.

Yates is a bit fortunate to escape with only a warning.

  6. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Another save for Brice Samba to make as Derby full-back Jayden Bogle gets down the right once more.

His ball in finds Chris Martin again and this time he feeds Graeme Shinnie.

The shot from outside the area is low but straight at the Forest keeper.

Not the start that Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi was after.

What a move - Bogle did brilliantly with great movement. Lawrence should have scored with a free shot from about the penalty spot.

Derby have got to be brave and show more like that.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 5 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Slick passing from Derby and Brice Samba makes a smart save to keep it goalless.

Jayden Bogle drives forward from right-back and feeds Chris Martin inside the area.

The striker lays it off to Tom Lawrence - but Samba is equal to his effort.

  9. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Derby forward Tom Lawrence gets on the ball for the first time, to a chorus of boos from the home fans.

He can't get the better of Forest right-back Matty Cash, who then wins a free-kick.

Tiago Silva has the first shot of the day - an ambitious attempt from all of 35 yards - which goes well wide of the Derby goal.

  10. Postpublished at 1 min

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Derby

Almost a great start for Forest as Ben Watson puts a great through ball through to Joe Lolley, who is past two defenders and gets the ball on the edge of the box.

But two white-shirted men get back to close him down. The offside flag is up anyway.

Since the summer of 2007, when these two East Midlands rivals have met, there has been more at stake than local bragging rights.

Nottingham Forest and Derby County have been playing for the Brian Clough Trophy - named after the legendary boss who managed both clubs and led both to league titles.

Forest have held the trophy since beating Derby in the Championship in February this year.

The two sides have already met this season, with the Reds again coming out on top in a 3-0 victory in the Carabao Cup in August.

Both sides are already out on the pitch for the pre-match presentation.

  15. Cocu feels effects of Keogh sackingpublished at 12:25 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

Nottm Forest v Derby (12:30 GMT)

Derby County's build-up to this game hasn't been totally serene.

The fall-out from the car accident involving Tom Lawrence, Mason Bennett and Richard Keogh continues, with Keogh sacked by the Rams on 30 Ocotber.

But the Professional Footballers' Association say they will "robustly defend" the 33-year-old Republic of Ireland international.

"Last week I said this has a big impact so we cannot say everything is gone," boss Phillip Cocu said prior to today's game.

    "It still has an impact."

Keogh fallout has affected Derby - Cocu

Derby's sacking of Richard Keogh and the fallout has been a distraction, boss Phillip Cocu says prior to facing Nottingham Forest.

  16. Forest above road-sick Ramspublished at 12:23 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

Nottm Forest v Derby (12:30 GMT)

Nottingham Forest come into the game just four points - but 10 places - above Derby County in the Championship table.

Forest recorded a first win in three as they won at Luton Town last time out, while Derby also took three points last weekend - beating struggling Middlesbrough.

But the Rams have been in poor form away from home, going six Championship games without a win away from Pride Park since winning at Huddersfield in their first game of the campaign.

Derby have not won at the City Ground since September 2012, visiting Nottingham seven times in all competitions without success since then.

  18. Forest look to stay in play-off mixpublished at 12:19 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

Nottm Forest v Derby (12:30 GMT)

Three points from the East Midlands derby would see Nottingham Forest move level on points with Preston, Leeds and Swansea - who all play later today.

The Reds are likely to just move up a place to fourth if they win - they'd need a five-goal victory to go third and a seven-goal triumph to move into the automatic promotion places.

Forest have a game in hand on all the sides around them after the postponement of their home game with Reading on 26 October.

Meanwhile, a Derby County win at the City Ground would see the Rams jump from 15th to eight in the Championship.

Phillip Cocu's side start the day four points off the play-off places.

  20. City Ground callingpublished at 12:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2019

This week the English Football League action gets under way with a derby on the banks of the Trent.

Nottingham Forest host rivals Derby County, with kick-off a quarter of an hour away.

Ten more Championship games follow at 15:00 GMT.

There are no League One and League Two fixtures this weekend, with those 47 clubs involved in the first round of the FA Cup instead.

But I'm sure we'll have plenty to keep us entertained in the second tier.
