  1. Focus on under-pressure Silvapublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

With Leicester going as well as they are, all eyes SHOULD be on them - but we all know they won't be.

The focus is on Everton's under-pressure manager Marco Silva, widely expected to be the fourth Premier League boss to lose his post this season.

IF, as has been said, the only thing keeping him in situ is the lack of a suitable replacement, then he does at least have the chance to change minds on a game-by-game basis - really difficult by really difficult game.

Win here, and he might get the Merseyside derby next week. Win that, and he might get the freedom of (part of) the city!

  3. 'It's not up to me to judge VAR'published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Norwich 2-2 Arsenal

    Norwich City

Norwich boss Daniel Farke speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a great performance - we delivered what we wanted to do. I'm disappointed to some extent - we should have got three points. Some of that was due to a world class Bernd Leno. Four points from two games is quite good.

On Arsenal's retaken penalty for encroachment: To be honest I was really unhappy with the quality of decisions during this period. Each and every 50-50 was against us. Out of a free-kick for them it led to a penalty. It probably was a pen then a great save by Tim.

"Then VAR reviewed it. To repeat this pen you'll probably find something in the rules. In second pen the head of lacazette was probably ahead of the kick, but that wasn't reviewed. Then the ball was on the pitch for the second Arsenal goal and that wasn't reviewed.

"It's not up to me to judge VAR - when the foot is inside the box and another part is outside you shouldn't replay the penalty.

"Four points out of two games is quite good. It was possible to get six from two but we take a lot of encouragement."

Man Utd v Aston Villa (16:30 GMT)

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on Final Score

Aston Villa will go to United feeling quite bouyant I think.

Dean Smith is such a positive manager so I think an upset is on the cards.

  5. Time running out for Silva?published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Leicester v Everton (16:30 GMT)

    Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on Final Score

Everton are really struggling. If you look at their fixtures as well - they've got all the big teams to play in the next few weeks.

They've spent money at Everton and it's not working. It doesn't look like Marco Silva will be given much more time to turn it around.

  6. 'We're doing a lot of things right'published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Wolves 1-1 Sheff Utd

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder on BBC MOTD 2: "We started both halves terrific. We had plenty of chances and we should have scored more than one.

"We knew they'd fight back after we went ahead because of the fight they have as a team. This is always a tough place to come so I'm delighted we've kept our away record going.

"Lys Mousset showed he can finish against Man Utd and he showed it again today. His partnership with David McGoldrick is going brilliant, too. We're doing a lot of things right at the moment - both with and without the ball.

"We were disappointed with their goal but I'm delighted with how we adapted our game plan."

  7. Rashford key for Man Utd?published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

Man Utd v Aston Villa (16:30 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Old Trafford

When Aston Villa last visited Old Trafford, in the spring of 2016, Marcus Rashford scored the winner less than two months after his United debut. Such was Rashford's impact that he was already looking ripe for inclusion in that summer's England squad for the European Championships.

Now, just a month after his 22nd birthday, Rashford is arguably United's most important player.

His maturity and goals, 10 in his last 11 games for club and country, have salvaged some respectability from a season threatening to bring more trauma than trophies to Old Trafford.

Everton look like a team that don't know where the next positive result will come from.

There is a lack of goals in them, and away from home they have a real fragility.

    Prediction: 2-0

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has kept faith with midfield duo Fred and Andreas Pereira for this afternoon's visit of Aston Villa to Old Trafford.

The pair were ridiculed by Gary Neville for their performance at Sheffield United on Sunday.

It will be interesting to see whether they can produce improved performances.

  14. 'I told Ozil: 'you are lucky'published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Norwich 2-2 Arsenal

    Norwich City

Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul speaking to Sky Sports: 'My job is to get into the strikers’ head and get him to doubt.

So I took a bit longer than what the referee liked and he gave me rightly the yellow card.

I saved the first penalty so it was frustrating that it had to be re-taken.

After they scored I just said to Ozil: 'you are lucky' because the referee helped them a lot there.

Lotak: Arsenal are just so bad. Seriously seriously bad. Their defence is god awful and if it weren't for Leno and VAR (albeit correct decision), they'd have been embarrassed by a team 19th in the league.

Abu: Arsenal have played the bottom 3 this season: 3 points. The problems go beyond the manager....

What a game that was, incredible.

Overall the draw was a fair result, both had plenty of chances.

Freddie Ljungberg has got a lot do to, Leno has kept Arsenal in the game.

But credit to Norwich as well, I thought they were superb.
