Stuart Findlay is on the ground and is feeling the back of his thigh. It looks as though the Scotland international pulled a muscle stretching to get on the end of a corner. The paramedics are on and it looks as though the central defender will be carried off the Rugby Park pitch.

Alex Bruce is coming on as his replacement.

First sight of goal for Ross County as Michael Gardyne skips inside from the left along the 18-yard line but drags his shot well wide of the near post.

St Mirren's Sam Foley with a shot on the edge of the Kilmarnock box but he pokes the ball over the top.

Ryotaro Meshino is unlucky not to score after driving inside on his right foot and use the wind to whip the ball into the far corner from distance. Matija Sarkic maybe could have sorted his feet out better, but the ball was just wide.

Up the other end of the park Joel Pereira makes a solid save from a close-range shot from former Hearts man Scott Robinson. He kept his legs closed and fell on the ball to cover it well. This one's starting to come to life.

The travelling St Mirren fans are making plenty of noise, with the drums banging constantly, but it’s the home side who’ve had the better chances.

Dutchman Mohamed El Makrini has looked lively for the home side, with Kilmarnock passing the ball around really well.

Huge chance for Jason Naismith, Hibs' former County right-back, as the hosts continue to push for an opener.

A curling ball from the left soars all the way into the path of the arriving defender, but his back-post effort flies well over the bar. It wasn't the easiest of balls to convert, but he'll still feel he should have done better.

My word, what an effort that was.

Murray Davidson bends a magnificent effort at goal from 25 yards. The Hamilton goalkeeper watches on as it comes crashing back off the bar. The visitors are creaking here.

Not a huge crowd it has to be said at McDiarmid Park this afternoon for what is a huge game for the hosts.

The home side have looked the most threatening so far, with Matty Kennedy causing issues down the right.

And away we go. It's a beautiful, crisp autumn day across most of the country. Perfect for football.

Livingston head coach Gary Holt tells BBC Scotland the late loss of Lyndon Dykes through injury "gives other players a chance".

He said: "It's one of those things. He's been battling with his ankle since the Rangers cup game, then he got it caught late on in the Celtic game which then re-aggravated it. He came back last week and wasn't 100%, you could see that in the game. He failed a late fitness test yesterday afternoon. So it'll be a loss but it gives other players a chance."

Gary Holt says he will change his approach to today's game with Hearts because of the injury.

"It's how you play out as well. We'll maybe have to split a bit more and play. Kicking the ball up to Cristophe Berra against Scott Robinson, I'd say he's not going to win most of the balls in the air. We'll have to gauge how we'll play out from the back. Scott Robinson puts a shift in, those centre-backs will know that. He's probably got a touch of the wee man syndrome about him at times, and he can be a wee bit angry, so he channels it in the right way. I'm sure Christophe Berra will not be expecting any less from Robbo than he would from Lyndon Dykes."
