Motherwell's Stephen Robinson was a bit evasive when asked yesterday, but we've now had indications from interim boss Austin MacPhee and former Hearts winger Neil McCann on Sportsound that they would like to be Craig Levein's successor.
Neil McCann and current caretaker boss Austin MacPhee both say they are keen to succeed Craig Levein as Hearts manager.

Form and history suggest a Rangers victory.
Steven Gerrard's side are on an unbeaten run of five games since losing away to Young Boys in the Europa League, while Hearts have failed to win in five since beating Aberdeen on penalties to reach the semi-final.
The sides drew 1-1 at Tynecastle last month, a result that ended Rangers' run of seven consecutive wins over the Edinburgh side.
Indeed, Rangers are unbeaten in their most recent 10 meetings with Hearts since a 4-1 defeat at Tynecastle in February 2017.

Steven Gerrard is encouraged by Rangers' greater firepower going into today's semi-final than they had a year ago when losing 1-0 to Aberdeen at a time when Alfredo Morelos was suspended and Jermain Defoe was yet to arrive on loan from Bournemouth.
The pair have scored 31 times between them this season and the Rangers manager said: "It is certainly night and day in one department; we have two centre forwards fit and in excellent form.
"The squad is improving - we do feel as if we are in a better place than 12 months ago, but Hearts have good players, they will compete and fight and try to play to their strengths.
"We need to make sure we are up for that, we compete and show our quality at the right time."

Gerrard has just told BT Sport that he has "been bold" with his selection as his side did not "do enough in the final third" in the recent league draw with Hearts.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has expressed surprise at the timing of Hearts' dismissal of Craig Levein but insisted that facing a side now under caretaker Austin MacPhee would have no impact on his own team's chances of reaching the final.
"I don't think it will affect the game," he said. "I am not sure things will change too much."
However, he admitted that "Austin might try to do something different with the formation, or the tactics, or personnel".

Hearts' interim manager Austin MacPhee has been responding to BBC Scotland about the prospect of winning the job permanently from owner Ann Budge.
"I'm relaxed about the situation," he says. "I talked to Ann on the way to the game - we're very honest with each other about the situation.
"I've stood in on three occasions as interim manager before and won every game, so I don't come here lacking confidence in this role and I hope to be able to lead the team to that today."

Steven Naismith came off injured after eight minutes of last season's League Cup semi-final defeat by Celtic, missed the next eight games and has hardly had a run of injury-free games in the side since.
Hearts have had a series of injuries to other key players, but the Scotland forward's importance is shown by comparing win ratios with him (67%) and without him (25%).
Naismith's injury problems more than anything account for Hearts go into today's game with Craig Levein having been sacked as manager.

Almost exactly a year ago, Hearts went into their League Cup semi-final leading the Scottish Premiership after 13 wins and only one defeat in 16 games.
Eased aside 3-0 by Celtic at Murrayfield, their season subsequently fell apart.
They finished sixth after a dismal finish to the campaign and that continued to such an extent that Craig Levein was dismissed as manager this week with his side second bottom of this season's table - only goal difference ahead of St Mirren.
