Lucas Torreira now goes down as Arsenal defend a corner, he's saying there was a hand in the face. Cesar Azpilicueta was the alleged offender but he was just trying to push his man away from him.

From the next corner that's a real chance - Andreas Christensen heads down into the turf and wide. Big chance!

Play didn't need to stop there. That's not a head injury. I'm not saying he's not hurt but I think he has been quite clever in staying down and convincing the referee to stop play

Sheffield United fans stood to applaud their team off at half time after a superb first half by their side. At times this has felt like a local derby, with strong challenges and tempers flaring on the pitch and a fantastic atmosphere in the stands.

The performance of the night has undoubtedly been Dean Henderson's with a penalty save and a couple of excellent close-range stops.

When Henderson made an error to gift Liverpool's victory back in September Chris Wilder said he needed to improve his concentration if he wants to be considered for England. Those words appear to have paid off because this has been an outstanding performance by the goalkeeper so far.

A lovely move from Chelsea, who have started the brighter. Callum Hudson-Odoi unlocks some space with a backheel and Mateo Kovacic has a powerful shot charged down.

I say that, it rattled Shkodran Mustafi right in the Shkodrans. He's down.

    HT: Bournemouth 2-0 Brighton

Bournemouth benefit from an own goal for the first time in the Premier League since 6 April 2019, when the Cherries took a 1-0 lead at home against Burnley through an Ashley Barnes own goal (3-1 home loss).

In this case, I think they'd have much preferred a goal for Callum Wilson! He needs one.

Steve, Accrington: Is VAR working at Bramall Lane tonight? And why is Jesus taking the penalty?

Stephen Piggin: If Almiron released the ball 0.5 of a second earlier it would be to devastating effect! He needs to work on that.

David Luiz was getting booed by the home fans, which surprised me a little bit. He's definitely got a point to prove tonight.

Aymeric Laporte has had the Sheffield treatment in that first-half. He's been in a game but he's stood up to it to be fair.

Manchester City should be winning at half-time.

Interesting - VAR check that incident with the players already back in the dressing room. There's no red card.

More fireworks as the whistle goes, Wilfried Zaha has to be restrained as the players come off. He poked a finger into James Ward-Prowse's face. You can't really do that.

Sheffield United have been great but Manchester City should be 1-0 up. As the game has gone on, the home side and have grown into it and I'd give the first half to them for their hard work.

Villa lacking in quality up front which is no surprise given they have no strikers. Another move breaks down on the edge of the box.

And that's the whistle. Troy Deeney gives Watford the slim lead at the break.

My biggest worry was how unfit the players were under Emery. Arteta wanted to play this high intensity football but the players weren't capable of it. Four weeks down the line and I think we are starting to see a difference.

We haven't seen much of Kevin de Bruyne, but I think that's down to Sheffield United. He likes to get into those little pockets but Sheffield Untied aren't letting him. They're not giving him any space in behind the back five to play the ball into either.
