If this is the Austin MacPhee audition for the Hearts job, at least he’s supplying entertainment and a lead at half-time. Hearts getting the goals, but so too are St Mirren. Not sure what Christophe Berra was thinking about leaving that long ball from which Danny Mullen scored.
I thought this might be a drab, attritional affair. Anything but. In terms of the MacPhee audition? He will go in at the break a lot happier after the back post header from Oli Bozanic to make it 3-2.
Do Hearts keep what they’ve got or go for more? I think I know what the previous regime might have done. But will Austin stick or twist?
It was all looking rather bleak for Killie when they went 2-0 down to Steve Davies' wonderful strike, but Sam Stubbs' red card for bringing down Eamonn Brophy has provided them with a lifeline in the game.
Though Brophy has looked bright, the hosts haven't really threatened the Accies goal. That was until stoppage time, when Mohamed El Makrini's tame strike went through Owain Fon Williams and into the net. A perfect time for Killie to score and they'll be confident of getting at least a point from this game against Brian Rice's 10 men.
Mohamed El Makrini
A lifeline for Killie!
Right on the stroke of half-time, Mohamed El Makrini takes a shot from the edge of the box which really should be dealt with comfortably by Owain Fon Williams, but he gets it completely wrong and the ball goes straight through him. Game on.

Quote MessageSurely Austin MacPhee will be getting the message on to the Hearts defence now to tighten up a little bit and not concede the lead yet again. Michael Smith whipped a great ball into the six-yard box for Oli Bozanic to attack.
Eddie May's decision to start both Christian Doidge and Florian Kamberi has been justified in the first half at McDiarmid Park as Doidge has scored his first and second league goals with two assists from his strike partner. In their first game since Paul Heckingbottom's sacking, Hibs have looked like a different team in Perth.
St Johnstone have huffed and puffed throughout the half without really testing Chris Maxwell in the Hibs goal. Tommy Wright will be hoping his side can improve after the break as his side will finish the day in 11th place if results stay as they are elsewhere.
This one has been wide open. Who was expecting five goals in the first half at Tynecastle?
Steven Naismith opened the scoring with a volley from an Andy Irving corner. Jonathan Obika leveled for the visitors in the 21st minute, as Tony Andreu set the striker up with a header across the box. Obika beat the offside trap to coast in and drill the ball into the top of the net.
Nine minutes later Uche Ikpeazu rifled a ball from close-range against the head of Sean Mcloughlin and into the net. Christophe Berra won't want to see a replay of St. Mirren's equaliser, as he ducked a header from a long ball forward, which let Danny Mullen in one-on-one to slot home.
The scoring was not done there. A brilliantly curled ball in from Michael Smith allowed Oliver Bozanic to header home to retain the lead.
How many goals will we see in the second half?
It has been an open, attacking game in Dingwall. Ross County drew first blood from the penalty spot after Lewis Ferguson was adjudged to have handled the ball, though it may have been just outside the box.
Aberdeen leveled five minutes later with Niall McGinn netting a fine free-kick, and the Dons have had the best of the 45 minutes but Ross County had defended well to keep them out.
Ross County 1-1 Aberdeen
Shay Logan picks Sam Cosgrove out with a cross to the front post and the Aberdeen striker sends his header just over the bar. The 16-goal forward has been well marshaled by the home defence today, but he managed to find a yard's space that time.
Kilmarnock 0-2 Hamilton

Accies manager Brian Rice sacrifices striker Steve Davies and replaces him with Darian MacKinnon following the sending off of defender Sam Stubbs. Alex Gogic has now moved to central defence.
Meanwhile, Killie’s central defensive problems continue with Alex Bruce limping off injured. Angelo Alessio decides to send on a striker Simeon Jackson, with Gary Dicker moving to centre back.
Oliver Bozanic
Michael Smith curled the ball in brilliantly for Oliver Bozanic to head home in the six-yard box. Vaclav Hladky managed to get something on it, but couldn't do enough to keep the ball out.

Quote MessageI can only think Christophe Berra had a shout and missed the ball. He normally puts the head on it and sends it 30 yards forward. That is an absolute calamity from Hearts at the back. To get ahead twice at home and surrender it twice is not good at all.
Ross County 1-1 Aberdeen
Ross County want another penalty as captain Marcus Fraser drops to the turf following a tussle with Andrew Considine, but referee Alan Newlands plays on.
It was a rare foray forward for the hosts who have had to defend heavily, but their back line has stood up well to the series of crosses and corners Aberdeen have sent their way.
Kevin Nisbet (pen)
St Johnstone 0-2 Hibernian
Almost a hat-trick for Christian Doidge! Jason Naismith sends a low cross into the box, it goes through Florian Kamberi, and Doidge slides at full stretch to put it into the net but can't quite get there and can only steer it wide.
Danny Mullen
Christophe Berra misses a header after a long ball up the park from Vaclav Hladky, and Danny Mullen ended up one-on-one. He took his chance calmly, and slotted home well. The Hearts captain will not want to see that on Sportscene tomorrow.
Ross County 1-1 Aberdeen
Aberdeen get another free-kick in a similar position to the one they scored from, but former Dons defender Willie Miller laments the "too nice" Niall McGinn on BBC Sportsound, who lets Ryan Hedges shove him out of the way to take the set-piece, sending it well over the bar.
Shortly afterwards Sam Cosgrove drills a shot wide then Ross County have to scramble a Shay Logan throw-in clear as Aberdeen continue to pile the pressure on Ross County.
Kilmarnock 0-2 Hamilton
Sam Stubbs is off for a last-man challenge. Eamonn Brophy gets a touch to the bouncing ball before the Hamilton defender brings him down. It's not clear whether Brophy would have got to the ball but Gavin Duncan brandishes a red card. The Accies are two up but down to 10 men.
Uche Ikpeazu
Burly striker Uche Ikpeazu, who has been playing wide on the right so far, blasts across the six yard box after wheeling round and the ball strikes defender Sean McLoughlin's head on its way into the net.
