    Hibernian v Motherwell (15:00)

Hibernian head coach Jack Ross speaking on BBC Sportsound: "The performance was obviously terrific in the last league game so it was quite straightforward to make the selection today.

Hibernian have kept just one league clean sheet this season, and that came on the first day of the season.

"We need to rectify it because it would probably turn a lot of the draws into wins, Ross added. "The creativity in the group means that we should always create and score."

  2. Taylor's Scotland games a 'boost' for Celtic - Lennonpublished at 14:50

    Celtic v Livingston (15:00)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Scotland: "Livingston can beat anyone on any given day and we haven't scored against them in the last three. We're hoping we can pick up the form we left two weeks ago. We have to be strong today and get our focus back on what we're doing.

"We've got a big plethora of games coming up so we're going to do a bit of rotation.

"Leigh Griffiths had an hour on Tuesday and you can see he's getting sharper. He's not at full fitness yet but he may feature at some stage.

"Greg Taylor has been limited with game time but the two games with Scotland will have given him some match fitness and that's a boost for us, and with the number of games we have coming up he'll feature at some point."

  3. 'I expect a big challenge' - Alessiopublished at 14:46

    Kilmarnock v Hearts (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Angelo Alessio speaking to BBC Sport Scotland: "Hearts have an interim manager, so I think every player will play well. They'll be confident now, they won the last game against St. Mirren. I expect a big challenge today."

"They changed their system of play, with 4-2-3-1. Last time they had a lot of player's injured, but now they have a lot of recovered players, it will be a tough game."

So, Jack Ross decides to name an unchanged line-up for his first game since being named as Hibernian's new head coach, following the sacking of Paul Heckingbottom. And to be fair to Ross - why would he change the team who won 4-1 away at St Johnstone before the international break?

Hibs, under interim head coach Eddie May, looked rejuvenated with Florian Kamberi and Christian Doidge leading the line. Doidge scored his first three Scottish Premiership goals at McDiarmid Park, and he'll be hoping to open his account at Easter Road this afternoon.

  10. Holt takes Odoffin 'out of firing line'published at 14:24

    Celtic v Livingston (15:00)

Livingston head coach Gary Holt explains the omission of 21-year-old Hakeem Odoffin despite starting the last three games,.

Holt tells BBC Scotland: "We just felt is a young player and he's been in the firing line a lot recently. We felt it was time to take stock of where we're at with him, and sometimes you have to take him out of the firing line.

"We're not blessed with a lot of numbers at the moment and that dictates the selection too. We're [down to the] bare bones because of injuries."

There's a general feeling of positivity amongst the Hibs fans about Jack Ross's appointment. That will disappear very quickly if he doesn't get results. It [his reign] starts with a difficult game against a Motherwell side that's had a very good season so far.
