  1. Mourinho should be affordablepublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2019

Some have remarked on the size of Jose Mourinho's salary if he comes in as a replacement, but worth bearing in mind that Spurs made a world-record £113m profit in the 2017-18 season despite the fact they were in the middle of constructing a new stadium.

Think of what they've made from the interest too!!!

Mourinho has turned down a number of job opportunities, in China, Spain and Portugal amongst others, since leaving Manchester United.

Despite speculation regarding a falling out between Daniel Levy and Pochettino, the decision was taken purely due to the poor results over a period of months, starting last February.

Simple rules. I'll pick out five names quite high up in the odds and you decide - Roman gladiatorial arena-style - whether you want this person to be the next Tottenham boss using the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons.

I'm pretty sure Daniel Levy is reading this page.
