As previously mentioned the last time these pair met it all got a little bit heated.

The Terriers took all three points thanks to a late winner from defender Michael Hefele.

The German's goal sparked wild celebrations throughout the ground and on the sideline, with boss David Wagner sprinting down the touchline to join the bundle, much to the annoyance of Leeds counterpart Garry Monk.

Monk and Wagner clashed as the latter returned to his technical area before players from both teams confronted one another.

The managers were both handed touchline bans and the clubs were fined £10,000 by the Football Association.

Could we be in for more of the same today?

It’s been 1,034 days since West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield and Leeds last met.

A stormy encounter between the two Championship play-off hopefuls in February 2017 ended 2-1 to the Terriers, with then Leeds boss Garry Monk accusing Town counterpart David Wagner of lacking “class, humility and respect” after his celebrations when his team grabbed a late winner.

Leeds arrive in brilliant form and will go back to the top of the Championship with victory over their struggling rivals.

Can the hosts bounce back from last week’s 5-2 defeat at Bristol City that left boss Danny Cowley “ashamed” or will Leeds get revenge, three points and the bragging rights?

If that wasn’t enough after the action at the John Smith’s Stadium we’ve got nine 15:00 kick offs in the Championship, 11 in League One and the full 12 in League Two.
