    Eilidh Davies
    BBC Sportsound reporter in Dingwall

The first 20 minutes of this match have seen table toppers Celtic very much in charge, with the visitors deservedly a goal ahead. Celtic have been piling huge pressure on to the home side and could easily be another two or three goals up.

Jeremie Frimpong dances his way into the penalty area, with defenders in dark blue backing off. The teenager drills a pass into the feet of Lewis Morgan but the forward scuffs the connection and the ball loops up for Nathan Baxter to save.

Celtic are having all the possession because, despite that European game in midweek, we are not going to get in your faces and let you have the ball

  4. Christie 'gets lucky' with penaltypublished at 12:16 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County 0-1 Celtic

Ryan Christie's dad, Charlie, is on Sportsound pundit duties today (and definitely not opening the scoring).

The Inverness Caley Thistle legend will be keeping a keen eye on his son, who is now on to 14 goals for the season.

  6. PENALTY TO CELTICpublished at 10 mins

    Ross County 0-0 Celtic

Lewis Morgan goes down in a heap after a challenge from behind. Keith Watson is the defender taking the attacker's foot away with a rash challenge. Just too slow to get there.

  7. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic jinks one way, then another, before lashing a dipping shot a foot or so wide of the target.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 6 mins

A clumsy challenge on Lewis Morgan results in a Celtic free kick on the right edge of the penalty box. Ryan Christie whips it round the wall from a tight angle and the shot crashes against the near post.

  11. Kettlewell wants County to swim against oddspublished at 11:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell is realistic about his side's chances against the league leaders but hopes they can find another famous result.

"What we definitely knew was there were going to be tough spells for us on our return to the Premiership," he tells BBC Radio Scotland. "There are swings and roundabouts and it is about putting in a performance for our fans.

"We're disappointed with our run, but there's only one group of people who can do something about that and that's our players.

"We are playing against one of the best teams about, so we know what we are up against, but there's two ways you can go - you can either sink or you can swim.

"It's not a fair fight in terms of finances, but we are where we thought we would be in terms of the league and there are ways of coming up with a result and this club has a history of doing that."

  12. Can County find cup killer instinct?published at 11:55 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

Celtic thumped County 6-0 in Glasgow during October and have now won their last four meetings with the Highlanders, scoring 14 times without reply.

The Premiership leaders have not lost on their most recent eight visits to Dingwall, winning six of them, but they haven't always had it so easy against County, who have enjoyed a couple of famous cup wins over their more illustrious opponents, as Amy MacBeath highlights in the link below.

  13. 'If we win 1-0, I'll be delighted' - Lennonpublished at 11:52 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is adamant that he'll take any kind of result in Dingwall today if it means his side pick up all three points.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, he says: "Every game is different but our approach has to be the same. We had a great result on Thursday but that's gone now. Our priority is obviously the league. If we win 1-0, I'll be delighted. If we win 6-0 I'll be even happier than that but we're not taking anything for granted. We're just up here to hopefully play well and win."

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

Celtic's 3-1 win over Rennes in the Europa League on Tuesday was their ninth in a row since losing away to Livingston.

In contrast, County have gone eight games without a win since a 2-1 success away to Motherwell in September, including three at home.

  15. 'I can't pinpoint when Edouard will be back'published at 11:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon isn't quite sure if star striker Odsonne Edouard will be fit for next Sunday's Scottish League Cup final.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, Lennon said: "We're taking it day by day. I can't pinpoint when he'll be back so we have to soldier on without him at the minute and we'll see how he is as the week goes on."

Today, the Celtic manager has opted to play Lewis Morgan up front, as he did in the 3-1 win over Rennes on Thursday, but Lennon is quick to add that Leigh Griffiths is nearing full fitness.

"Obviously we have [Leigh] Griffiths as well almost fully fit," he says. "So that will be a welcome boost to the squad when he's up to full speed."

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

The sun is shining in Dingwall, but I'd hesitate to call it t-shirt weather, with the temperature around 2-3C.

Most players had puffa jackets and hats on for their pre-match stroll on the grass, but Celtic captain Scott Brown is made of sterner stuff.

  17. 'Lennon wants new Bitton deal'published at 11:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

This morning's newspapers suggest Celtic manager Neil Lennon is keen on securing Nir Bitton on a new contract despite his lack of starts, with the Israel midfielder being touted for a £1m move to Burnley.

Meanwhile, it is also suggested that Juventus are monitoring Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara but are likely to be put off by the Ibrox club's £8m valuation of the Finland international.

  18. Rogic gets a run for Celticpublished at 11:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Ross County v Celtic (12:00)

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is sidelined again after missing the Europa League win over Rennes on Thursday with a niggle, so Lewis Morgan continues to lead the line.

Right-back Jeremie Frimpong, who was not registered for European competition by boss Neil Lennon, returns in place of Moritz Bauer, while Tom Rogic takes over from Olivier Ntcham, who is not in the squad.

County co-managers Stuart Kettlewell and Steve Ferguson make three changes to the side that lost 2-1 to St Mirren last weekend.

In defence, Marcus Fraser makes way for Keith Watson. Ewan Henderson, on loan from Celtic, is inelligible for today's game so the midfielder steps out of the side and is replaced with Harry Paton. Up front, Brian Graham is replaced with Lee Erwin.
