    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have found a bit of extra zest and Chelsea do not look comfortable with it.

Good play on the left wing from Philip Billing and Ryan Fraser as they look to create an opportunity, and there's yet more pinball in the box as Chelsea fail to clear their lines comfortably.

  2. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Josh King gets a chance at the other end, steaming down the pitch as Bournemouth break with only the defender to beat, but a poor touch takes it a little too wide for a shot and Chelsea are able to snuff out his opportunity.

  3. YELLOW CARD - Lewis Cookpublished at 50 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Lewis Cook goes into the box after a lunging tackle on Emerson.

Chelsea get a free-kick in a decent position but choose to play it along the back line instead of sending it towards goal.

  4. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

A bit more of a high tempo start by Chelsea as they take the ball straight up the field towards the Bournemouth box.

Their wave of attack is stopped though as Kurt Zouma brings down Philip Billing.

  5. Second half under waypublished at 46 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

    Tammy Abraham kicks us off.

No changes made by either side.

Ben: Chelsea: Stop. Giving. Corners. Away.

Oscar Hewitt: Chelsea seem to be out of ideas of how to break down an injury ridden Bournemouth team. Not a good sign.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea are certainly enjoying the majority of the possession so far, but are struggling to make anything of it.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, should be happy with how they've thwarted the Blues' attempts to attack.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Tammy Abraham heads over the bar from a corner in what will probably be the final play of the half.

Yep. Well that 45 minutes was nothing to write home about. Here's hoping for a slightly more entertaining second half at Stamford Bridge.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Two minutes added on at the end of the first half.

  11. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have their first corner of the day but they fail to capitalise, the ball ricocheting around the box as everyone tries to get a toe on it with Dan Gosling having perhaps the best chance, his effort saved by Kepa.

They get another corner moments later but Chelsea clear, albeit somewhat scrappy.

  12. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Try as they might, Chelsea just cannot score. Willian lofts a ball in towards Christian Pulisic at the back post, he gets up well but his header back across the front of goal finds nobody.

  13. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth enjoy a rare venture into Chelsea's half and Ryan Fraser earns a free-kick for his side out on the left wing as he's brought down by Cesar Azpilicueta.

It's pinball in the box as Chelsea fail to clear, before the offside flag goes up on Dan Gosling.

A big day for the Chelsea skipper.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Cries of frustration from the Chelsea crowd as a mix-up between Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic sees the ball simply passed out of play.

Frank Lampard's men are enjoying all the possession but they just can't carve out an opportunity.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

We have, however, just had the first corners of the game from Chelsea, the second a much easier clearance for Bournemouth to have to make.

Chelsea seem to have found another gear with Willian darting here, there and everywhere.

Chris Mepham seems to then play a pass back to Aaron Ramsdale and Chelsea players are calling for it, but the referee waves them away.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

How to sum up the last few minutes? Free-kicks in the middle of the park and throw-ins. Both teams struggling to string passes together or indeed keep the ball in play.

Neither team is posing much of a threat as it stands with a quarter of this game played.

  18. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Another chance for Chelsea as Tammy Abraham goes close, but he puts his hooked effort just wide.

Abraham is Chelsea's top scorer this season on 11.

  19. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Fraser returns to play after a few minutes with the doctor and it looks as though he's OK to continue for a few moments.

The last thing Bournemouth need is another name added to their injury list.

  20. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Ryan Fraser is down and having some treatment on his right knee. He seemed to do something to it when he took a tumble in the box earlier on.
