  1. Postpublished at 67 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

More like Wes Sneijder than Wes Morgan! The Foxes skipper shows deft skill in the Hammers box, a no-look clip over his shoulder met by a swinging volley. But the connection is not clean and Lukasz Fabianski saves.

West Ham United 1-2 Leicester City

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

I don't think anyone would think Robert Snodgrass would be so important for West Ham but his quality from dead balls is key for them. Leicester will try to keep the ball. The way they do is it really good and they can look to catch them on the counter attack because they have pace. West Ham don't have enough players of pace or energy. They aren't showing much evidence they can get back in this game.

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

James Maddison is straight into the action, lining up a free-kick on the left. A devilish delivery almost finds its way to Hamza Choudhury, a West Ham flick diverting it out for a corner.

If the scores stay like this it keeps the dogfight interesting for the neutrals at least...

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Fantasy football managers rejoice. James Maddison will get the last 25 minutes or so. And the way this is going he might rack up a few points...

Ayoze Perez is the man who makes way.

  6. Postpublished at 62 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Leicester are in again... oh no, the flag is up. Foxes pair Nampalys Mendy and Demarai Gray link up again, pinging the ball around dazed Hammers defenders, but Gray is flagged marginally offside before shooting.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 60 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Another change for the Hammers. Loud cheers and jeers greet Carlos Sanchez's departure, with the incoming Robert Snodgrass receiving a rather warmer reception.

  8. Postpublished at 59 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

The mood is turning somewhat in east London. Leicester surge forward again, James Justin is in down the right, his cutback blocked.

The corner is cleared. West Ham survive.

  9. 'Like a knife through butter'published at 18:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

West Ham United 1-2 Leicester City

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

Everything about the goal was good from Leicester but it all broke down after West Ham gave the ball away further up the pitch. Leicester have cut through the West Ham defence like a knife through butter. It was far too easy.

  10. Postpublished at 57 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

It's going to take a big effort from West Ham to end that dismal run of home results now...

GOAL - West Ham 1-2 Leicesterpublished at 56 mins

    Demarai Gray

Breakaway! West Ham's defence is carved up easier than that juicy turkey you ate a couple of days ago.

Leicester quickly turn defence into attack, Issa Diop unsuccessfully trying to ruby tackle a couple of Foxes players on their way forward.

Ayoze Perez escapes his clutches, slipping an inch-perfect pass to Demarai Gray who is clean through and coolly clips over Lukasz Fabianski.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

On comes Michail Antonio... good news as far as the Hammers fans are concerned.

The bad news? Sebastien Haller is going off. Few boos.

  13. Postpublished at 54 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Looks like a West Ham change is in the offing...

  14. Postpublished at 53 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Exhibit A. Nampalys Mendy, with Leicester team-mates in the box, sloppily plays it behind them and the chance goes begging.

  15. Postpublished at 52 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Good job for West Ham that Leicester haven't played their first string, I'd suggest. The Foxes are pinging it around inventively - and sharply - but their final ball is lacking.

  16. Postpublished at 50 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Could get even worse for West Ham... Christian Fuchs stands over the ball. Twenty yards out...

The Foxes left-back beats the wall with a low drive... but not Lukasz Fabianski.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 49 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Not been a great day so far for Arthur Masuaku.

The Hammers left-back sees Ayoze Perez drift by him on the edge of the home penalty box and resorts to the sort of tactics usually seen at Twickenham to stop the Leicester forward.

    Clear free-kick, clear yellow card.

  18. Postpublished at 48 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Quiet start. Those still in the hot dog queue will be happy.
