    PRESS THE BUBBLES BUTTON!

The machine is whirring and that only means one thing... the players are strolling back out.

    HT: West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Watching replays of the Leicester goal... West Ham's defending is simply awful.

Arthur Masuaku is the main culprit, weakly heading a cross straight at James Justin who pumps the ball back to Ayoze Perez before Kelechi Iheanacho nods in the knockdown.

The rest of the Hammers defence does not cover itself in glory either as Perez and Iheanacho do their thing. Very static.

  3. 'West Ham positive at last'published at 18:23 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

West Ham United 1-1 Leicester City

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

I have to say it's the first time in this half that West Ham have looked to be positive! At last. And they have got a goal from it. Pablo Fornals got his head down and there's not a chance for Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester goal.

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

    Hope for the Hammers.

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Amazing what a goal can do. West Ham win a corner from which Sebastien Haller hooks into the side-netting. Half the ground thought it was in.

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

A few minutes of stoppage time. And suddenly West Ham have the bit between their teeth...

  7. Postpublished at 45 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Leicester

Relief all round! Not least for Manuel Pellegrini who leaps to his feet and shows more emotion than I've probably ever seen him show. Even after he won the Premier League title.

  8. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Leicesterpublished at 44 mins

    Pablo Fornals

They've got one! Neat play down the right between Ryan Fredericks and Felipe Anderson sees the latter pull back to Pablo Fornals, who is unmarked and confidently sweeps in an equaliser.

  9. Postpublished at 43 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Leicester

Better from West Ham. Sebastien Haller goes close to offer as sign of hope. Can they grab something before the break? Anything will do.

  10. Postpublished at 41 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Leicester

Leicester are sniffing blood here. Demarai Gray is put through after burning off the Hammers defence but slashes his shot well wide.

  11. Postpublished at 40 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Leicester

Manuel Pellegrini looks like he just seen the ghost of Christmas past. The Hammers boss looks drawn, pulling his face down the both hands.

    Kelechi Iheanacho

More misery for West Ham. Or is it?

The ball is swung over from the right with Ayoze Perez heading back to Kelechi Iheanacho instinctively flicking in from close range.

Did the ball out before Perez reached it? No! Nothing wrong with that one.

  13. Postpublished at 38 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Oh no. Pablo Fornals, who has been one of West Ham's brightest sparks today, tries to go left with the outside of the boot. He finds touch.

  14. Postpublished at 37 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Can that give the Hammers a much-needed confidence boost? Very scrappy this.

  15. Postpublished at 35 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Finally something for the West Ham fans to get excited about. Marc Albrighton loses possession and Pablo Fornals gallops forward with two defenders back-pedalling in front of him.

Felipe Anderson arrives in support, his cross falling to skipper Declan Rice. But his half volley is awkward and thumps into the turf to lose sting. Easy catch for Kasper Schmeichel.

  16. Postpublished at 33 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Leicester starting to get on top now... after that corner is half cleared, Wes Morgan stays upfield and meets a ball back into the box with a stooping header. Lukasz Fabianski saves and the flag is up anyway.

  17. Postpublished at 32 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

And luckily for West Ham that Masuaku was back in position... Marc Albrighton swings a ball in from the left and with James Justin arriving at the far post, Masuaku is well placed to head clear.

  18. Postpublished at 31 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

After a few grimaces and a chat with the physio, Arthur Masuaku will be fine to carry on.

  19. Postpublished at 30 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Uh oh. Looks like bad news for Arthur Masuaku. The Hammers left-back pulls up with an injury just before he goes into a challenge. Pablo Zabaleta is told to do some star jumps down the touchline.

  20. Postpublished at 29 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

West Ham started to struggle now, those ghosts of recent performances coming back in their minds. More groans as another forward pass goes straight to a Leicester man.
