    Brighton 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Graham Potter told BBC Sport: "Credit to Sheffield Wednesday, they deserve to go through. We huffed and puffed but our second-half performance was disappointing. It was not a classic game of football but we need to do better.

"It would've been nice to have had a better performance and a victory. We wanted to win the game so we're disappointed.

"We set out to win and we didn't so we're disappointed. The only thing we can do is learn from it."

    Bournemouth v Luton (17:31 GMT)

This is Bournemouth and Luton Town's first meeting since January 2009 when they went toe-to-toe in League Two.

    Oh the good old days!

That one - in Eddie Howe’s fourth match in charge at Dean Court - ended in a 1-1 draw with former Cherries midfielder Danny Hollands scoring for both teams.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used the old gag about hot and cold balls being put into the bowl to be drawn out in the FA Cup yesterday.

He was only joking of course but Manchester United could be forgiven for feeling a bit paranoid about the situation.

Their last four ties - all away from home have been Arsenal, Chelsea, Wolves and Wolves again.

    Pretty tough that.

I said to Gary this morning I thought Tranmere could cause an upset. I'll take coming from 3-0 down against a Premier League side to drawing 3-3 as an upset.

Norwich striker Adam Idah told BBC Sport: "It is a good day in the FA Cup and I'm delighted to get the goals. I think all three assists were from Marco Stiepermann and we have been working on that in training. I have been working for the last six or seven months, I got my chance tonight and I took it.

"It's everything you want growing up as a young boy and to score in front of the away fans was great. I want to be a part of it [the Premier League campaign} but this is a team game and I have to do my best and keep working hard."

  8. Hot reception for Man Utdpublished at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Wolves v Man Utd (17:31GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

I saw the Manchester United coach arrive at Molineux about 70 minutes before kick-off.

It was mostly Wolves fans waiting to greet them. It is fair to say Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Marcus Rashford are not well liked.

Wolves v Man Utd (17:31 GMT)

Wolves make four changes from the side beaten at Watford three days ago.

John Ruddy replaces Rui Patricio in goal, Jonny Castro drops out of the side, as do Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez.

Benny Ashley-Seal makes his first senior start after showing fine form for the club's under-23 side.

I've really enjoyed Anthony Knockaert's performance today - he's been terrific. He's always tried to be positive and make something happen for his team. The game got away from Villa after Harry Arter's goal but Fulham deserved the win.
