Very limited opportunities for Tottenham but they have played well. They have been holding the ball and controlling the game but for the most part, they have just had shots from about 25 yards out and have been closed down time and time again.

The problem for Middlebrough is they need to be able to hold the ball up. When the ball does go upfront, it's just coming straight back down again. Against a team like Tottenham, if you keep doing that, you will eventually leak. Jonathan Woodgate has got to think of something for the second half.

It's been really hard for Middlesbrough but one thing they have done is block shots from 20-25 yards out, time and time again. There have been a couple by Moura, some by Eriksen but they are getting blocked just outside the box. Part of the game plan for playing three at the back is keep tight and close down those areas. But that gets harder and harder as the game goes on.
