    Chelsea 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Reece James curls a lovely ball in from the right but Michy Batshuayi is stretching as he heads it over the bar.

    Good chance that!

This is how Rovers took the lead. Fair to say the spot-kick was very well taken.

    QPR 1-0 Swansea

Ilias Chair looks to double QPR's lead as he picks up the ball on the left wing and cuts inside.

He is aiming for the far post but blasts an effort just past the post.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Tottenham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham are getting to the byline and into dangerous areas without actually having to try too hard. I just wonder if this is the wrong system for Middlesbrough to play against Spurs today.

  5. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Nottingham Forest

It took two minutes and six seconds for VAR to rule out that Nottingham Forest penalty. Nice and quick then.

  6. Postpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Sheffield United 1-0 AFC Fylde

Danny Philliskirk has just made his presence known to Sheffield United, with a hard tackle on Ravel Morrison. They didn't like that!

The Blades get a free-kick in the middle of the park, but it comes to nothing.

  7. Postpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Crewe 0-1 Barnsley

Over at Crewe, Paul Green smacks an effort over the bar from the edge of the box, while Ross Barkley does the same at Stamford Bridge.

    Can Crewe get an equaliser?

  8. Postpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Derby County

Derby have had plenty of the ball near and in the Palace area, but they've both failed to make the most of it or been smothered from creating chances by the home defence.

It's a tight affair so far at Selhurst.

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Tottenham

So, so close for Boro, but they just can't get the ball over the line!

Paddy McNair puts in a cross, Dael Fry heads it across goal but Spurs just keep it away. But a game of pinball ensues in the box and George Saville has a shot cleared off the line.

  10. NO PENALTYpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    No penalty.

VAR has deemed Alex Mighten to be offside. Inches, inches...

  11. PENALTY - Nottingham Forestpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Fikayo Tomori comes sliding in and brings down Alex Mighten!

    VAR is checking for offside...

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Bristol Rovers 1-0 Coventry

What a save from Rovers' Jordi van Stappershoef!

He sticks his leg out to prevent Jordan Shipley from slotting in what seemed an almost certain equaliser.

  13. Postpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Crewe 0-1 Barnsley

    How close?!

A ball is fired in from the right by Crewe and Bambo Diaby does just enough to poke it away from two attackers in coming.

A great finish! Jordan Hugill experly brings down the ball with his chest after great play from Bright Samuel and Todd Kane before volleying it home.

  15. CLOSE!published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Tottenham

Almost an own goal from Patrick McNair! Christian Eriksen puts in a cross but it's the Boro man who sends it towards goal, but he breathes a sigh of relief as it just edges past the post.

  16. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Tottenham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is quite worrying for Middlesbrough just now. They cannot get close to Tottenham - not within 10 yards of the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli at the moment. They need to do something about that lack of control in the midfield area.

  17. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Pedro has a brilliant chance to put Chelsea 2-0 up as he cuts onto his left foot and drills it towards goal.

He beats the defender and it looks like beating the keeper but teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi gets in the way!

  18. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Bristol Rovers 1-0 Coventry

It's been a decent affair at the Memorial Stadium so far - both sides are causing big problems in the opposition thirds.

Former Cov keeper Steve Ogrizovic - and an 1987 FA Cup winner - looks a bit pensive sat in the stands as he does a spot of co-commentary.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Charlton 0-0 West Brom

Ooh, very strong appeal for a pen.

Charlton are very lucky because Naby Sarr appeared to touch the ball with his hand while trying to control a cross in the box.

  20. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2020

    Crewe 0-1 Barnsley

It's settled down a little bit at Crewe following that rampant start from Barnsley. They are still enjoying all the possession.
