That was a really well-taken goal by Callum Robinson. His control and shot on the turn after Luke Freeman's cross was top quality. The Premier League club have settled quickly, while keeper Michael Verrips is yet to be tested on his first competitive start for the Blades.

Chris Brunt swings a deep free-kick in towards the back post but Dillon Phillips is alert and comes out to punch it clear.

This would have been brilliant from Daniel Powell, who cuts inside from the right, skins the centre-back and fires inches wide of the post.

Spurs are doing well at taking the sting out of this game. Christian Eriksen went close a couple of minutes ago, going for goal from outside the area but Tomas Mejias got behind it between the Boro sticks.

Good start for Middlesbrough. They have been lively and very, very positive with a decent bit of belief about them as well. It will be interesting to see how their forwards do but they are pressing quite high up the field. Really ultra-positive start for Boro.
