Robbie: The Gini burst the net!!

Armchair Football Fan: Excellent first half but keeper's had a nightmare there, has to hold that. Brilliant finish from Wijnaldum however, lots of work still to do from that position.

Wout Weghorst drives into the box and has a go but it's straight at the keeper.

Because of the amount of bodies in the area, Georginio Wijnaldum had to be really composed.

He shows his experience and technical ability to put his side 1-0 up.

That all came from Denzel Dumfries' run down the right. He's had a lot of fun this evening!

    Georginio Wijnaldum

    Goaaaaaaaaaal!!!

Georginio Wijnaldum absolutely thumps it into the roof of the net.

Memphis Depay is lurking at the back post ready to pounce on an awkward low cross in from the right.

Keeper Georgiy Bushchan has to come out to stop it and ends up palming it straight into Wijnaldum's path.

    He doesn't hesitate. Smash. Goal.

Marlos has been caught out a few times at that back post. Denzel Dumfries wins another header.

It's nodded down dangerously into the path of Wout Weghorst but the keeper/brick wall gets there just in time.

Simon Atkins: The stats favour the Netherlands, but honestly I was much more impressed by Ukraine that first half. Absolutely brilliant showing, just unable to score!

    This stat is mad!

Ukraine have now failed to score with any of their last 71 shots in European Championship encounters.

There's a bit of a common theme there where Arsenal seem to be involved in lots of shots and 0 goals...

Owen: Best 0-0 I remember was Arsenal v Real Madrid, last 16 of the Champions League in 2006. Shots raining in from all over the place, just none actually making it into either goal.

Best 0-0 was Man City v Arsenal around 1994. Ian Wright hit post for Arsenal. Was end to end all game

Owen: That Wijnaldum shot would have been such a good goal I almost wouldn't have minded that I decided not to put him in my fantasy team.

Depay is terrific, he's certainly stepped up since his time in England. Hope to see him back in the Champions League with a big team next season.

    Netherlands 0-0 Ukraine

    Izzy Christiansen
England and Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

We sit here as neutrals and it must be one of the most entertaining games in the tournament so far.

Both teams realise how important a win is in this game. Some of the technical detail and quality on the pitch has been brilliant to watch.

It makes it exciting that it's 0-0. Who will score first? You can see the Netherlands' plan, to suck in the Ukraine pressure and hit them on the counter attack.
