  1. Goodbye

That's the end of this live text now. Thanks for joining us.

Denmark dominated for large periods on an emotional night but it's Belgium in the last 16.

The Netherlands v Austria starts at 20:00 BST - follow build-up here soon.

Wayne Ellis: How Denmark have come away from their first two games without a point, with all the chances they’ve had, is hard to understand. Hope they still make it through.

Paolo Brand: Simply incredible game. Denmark tore Belgium to shreds in the first half, yet back came the Red Devils with two quality goals in the second. Denmark remained a constant threat and were unlucky not to get a draw. All to do for the Danes now!

  4. 'De Bruyne was the difference'

    FT: Denmark 1-2 Belgium

    Karen Carney

Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

    What a game.

Credit to Denmark, they started brilliantly but just couldn't hang on because Belgium have star quality. They made a tactical change and brought on key players.

Kevin de Bruyne was the difference. You feel for Denmark, they gave everything and as a fan you wanted them to get something, but credit to Belgium and Roberto Martinez for making those changes.

  5. Post update

    Denmark 1-2 Belgium

Denmark aren't out of Euro 2020 yet. With four of the six third-placed teams going through, they've still got a chance.

But they have to beat Russia - and hope.

In Euro 2016, eventual champions Portugal and Northern Ireland both went through on three points with an even goal difference. Turkey and Albania went out on three points, with negative goal differences.

  6. Watch: Belgium seal comeback win - all the goals

  7. Post update

    Denmark 1-2 Belgium

Three times in this tournament a team have had 20 or more shots.

Two of them have been Denmark. Both defeats.

  8. Post update

    Denmark 1-2 Belgium

Denmark have been desperately unlucky to lose both games at Euro 2020.

They were the better side against Finland by miles - especially before Christian Eriksen's cardiac arrest - and they dominated the first half today.

A clinical 20-minute spell from Belgium settled this game.

  9. BreakingBELGIUM INTO LAST 16

That win takes Belgium into the knockout stages of Euro 2020.

Tom Gumbleton: I'd argue this match has been the best match so far in the tournament. The way Denmark started, the obvious storylines, the drama, the high tempo and the fantastic goals too (and excellent build up play).
