What they've got out there already is more than enough to get the job done. Didier Deschamps wouldn't have wanted a lack of control in that transition and that's what cost them that goal essentially. No more mistakes can be made and they need to be more clinical at the top.

France have stepped it up. They've now a corner. This could be a long half for Hungary.

Terry K Cooper: Group F is wide open and shaping up to be the most exciting group. Literally any of the teams could end up topping it or going home at this rate!

Paul Collins: If France somehow lose this and Germany win later all it would take in final games is for Portugal to beat France and Hungary and Germany to draw for France to be out. That could actually happen. France need something here.

Excellent, excellent play from Hungary. They have had each other's backs, they've worked hard. The midfield has been absolutely brilliant. The back four becomes a back five out of possession.

Hungary lost their best player before the tournament, lost the captain in the first half and they've stuck on in there somehow. France created so many chances without scoring. Some of the skill from Mbappe was sensational but somehow they're losing the game.

France were controlling the game. Positioning, creating chances, but in this kind of competition you have to be really organised and focused. The only one chance Hungary had they scored.

Maybe tactically France need to change something. They need to be more creative, play faster.

Didier Deschamps has been in charge since summer 2012, the players have told us they have seen five or six times where he can go mental. Maybe he doesn't have to go mental this time, but he will not be happy with those defensive mistakes.

Considering the type of coach he is and the DNA of this team, it is not a goal they should be conceding.

Aged 31 years and 122 days, Attila Fiola is the oldest player to score against France in a European Championship match since Rui Jordao scored twice for Portugal in 1984 (31y 319d).

His opener was the first time France had conceded in six matches in all competitions, ending a run of 527 minutes of play without shipping a goal.
